We left Banfield about a year ago! The quality of care kept going down hill! Our five year old doodle ended up with two rotten teeth! The final straw was when the manager BOLD FACED LIED TO ME regarding talking to an employee on what he said to me over the phone, only to cover for the incompetent tech. I have NO respect for liars! (I was going to not even give a one star review, but I couldn't post unless I did.)

We adopted our elderly cat from Forgotten Felines and had been taking her to the Carl T. Jones Banfield since we got her around 7 years ago. This past weekend (9/06/25) we had to say goodbye. From the very first visit until this last one every single person who works there has been so incredible kind, patient and understanding. My wife and I never felt unwelcome or like we were a burden. When we picked up her ashes they hugged us and told us to come back and wished us well. I have never felt so comfortable with any vet like I have them. They took such good care of us and our baby for as long as we had her. I can not recommend them enough 💜

They would not stay 5 minutes after closing time for me to get my dog back to them after they gave him his yearly shots. His face was swollen and his breathing was short. I called as I was on my way to the office to let them know that he was having a reaction to the shots and their reply was”WE DONT GET PAID FOR OVERTIME YOU JUST NEED TO GO TO THE ER WITH HIM. And I had only picked him up there about 40 minutes prior to the call. I WILL NEVET USE THEM AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THEM. They only care about the money. Now they are trying to get me to pay for the contract that I canceled the day after this happened.

Negligent, dismissive, and unprofessional; Banfield put people and pets at risk, absolutely not a place to trust with your pet’s care.

My friend brought her late mother’s dog to Banfield for a rabies vaccine and clearly warned staff that he bites and must be muzzled. They dismissed her warnings with mockery, didn’t muzzle him, and a staff member ended up hospitalized. The vaccine was never given, and Banfield called animal control—sticking her with a $600 quarantine fee. She did everything right, but Banfield’s negligence and unprofessionalism left her punished for their mistake. I strongly caution anyone from trusting Banfield with their pets’ care.
