- ABa “aka” b2 days ago1.0Hadn’t been in years and stopped in to grab something the local pet store didn’t have. I was appalled at how horrible the conditions of the fish section were. This store needs to stop carrying fish or hire someone who knows how to keep the aquatic area healthy. The fish tanks were grimy, disgusting. There were sick and dead fish in the tanks. The betta section stunk due to how many were either dead or near dead in their little plastic containers. All the while they had employees unpacking new fish? While they can’t care for the ones that are already in store. I don’t support animal cruelty. Just because their fish doesn’t mean they don’t matter

Not only were the people SO KIND while she was deciding, they let her chat about all things hamster in the meantime. We now have an adorable new friend, and my daughter felt like they took the animals well being really seriously.
