  We went to BestBuy Whitehorse with my husband today (Aprl2,2026) and Jagdeep was the one assisted us. He was so professional and patient with us since we are not so sure with the choices of the product we want. He is very knowledgeable and smart .   I recently had a frustrating experience while shopping for a laptop at Best Buy. On my first visit, I spoke with an employee who was unable to answer some very basic questions about the laptops. I assumed they might be new, so I decided to do my own research and return later. Before leaving, I specifically asked if the laptop I was interested in was in stock, and I was told that it was. I also confirmed that if it wasn’t available, I could order it—again, I was told yes. Two days later, I returned, found the same laptop on display, and asked to purchase it. At that point, I was told the item was not in stock and, to make matters worse, that it could not be ordered. Staff also had no information on whether the product was discontinued or would be restocked. What was most frustrating is that the laptop was still prominently displayed for sale with no indication that it was unavailable. When I asked about this, the manager explained that she was not allowed to remove the display until directed by head office. I suggested at least putting a sign indicating “Out of Stock” or “Unavailable,” but she said she would need to check if she was even allowed to do that. As a customer, this feels very disorganized and misleading. It’s disappointing to see a lack of product knowledge, inconsistent information, and what appears to be an inability for staff to take simple, common-sense steps to communicate with customers. Overall, this experience wasted my time and left me questioning how inventory and communication are handled in-store. Needless to say, I would not recommend shopping there.
