Mae (Maylea) and Braedon were extremely helpful to me in a difficult situation. Prior to both of them starting in the Ripley, WV store, in early October 2025, I purchased two new phones (iPhone 17) and upgraded service. I noticed issues with my bill (it was about $100 more than I anticipated, accounting for the higher first month which was explained to me when I purchased) and tried to resolve the issue via the 1-800 #, and in the store.
No success with customer service (1-800#). It was very difficult to get on the same page with them and reach a resolution, even after being on the phone for 45 minutes or over an hour at times.
I'll omit some details here related to my other efforts to resolve and skip to January 2026. I came into the store at ~645pm to see if the new manager had started, which I was told would be the easiest way to resolve my issue when I stopped in the store in November. She had, but she wasn't there, and it turned out to be irrelevant anyway.
Braedon was there, working with a customer. He stayed until almost 8 o'clock (they close at 7pm) with me getting the ball rolling on figuring out what the issues were with my bill. He set up an appointment for me the next morning during which the issues were all resolved, and immediately after which I wrote this review.
Resolving the issues involved efforts from both Mae and Braedon again. They identified the totality of the overcharges, and helped advocate for me with customer service, who was, yet again, very difficult to deal with. Mae and Braedon demonstrated excellent professionalism as to their candor/demeanor and technical knowledge. They also correctly evaluated what I suspect is a relatively uncommon situation with my particular bill etc., that could easily have been mistaken as someone trying to complain about nonsense just to get a discount etc.
If I could give a 6 out of 5 rating, I would, and the particulars about Mae and Braedon mentioned above would be the reason.
