Had an issue with a printer and had bought the extended warranty. They were absolutely fantastic. Hassle-free replaced it quickly

We had a wonderful experience. Kadie and Noah were FANTASTIC about helping us get my mom’s new phone purchased and set up. They were very knowledgeable about the various options and extremely helpful when we hit a few snags. They each went out of their way to help us get everything figured out smoothly.

This local retail location unfortunately will go the way of the previous tenant, Circuit City, sooner rather than later. Love to shop locally and put my hands on the physical goods I purchase. Attempted to trade my money for a high end iPad for my granddaughter. Arrived and had to get help after some time despite obviously being ready to purchase the exact item, multiple attempts to get help from anyone while we waited. Finally get someone, quickly indicate what was needed but unfortunately not in stock, OK so it's ordered for pickup a week later. They can't even meet the promised shipping to store timeline and I learn they are using a third party seller, really? Attempted to call store to potentially upgrade for something in stock, despite calling the local store's number and going through their AI slop and holding almost half an hour, I get connected with some sort of call center with someone I can't hardly understand. They refused to connect me with the local store and affirmed I'd just have to drive to the store to get help. Informed them that I'd just completely cancel the order online to which they seemed pleased. Canceled order and ordered from Apple directly with quicker shipping. Will never shop Best Buy again in any way. Very sad to watch another retail death spiral. Update 3/17/26: Some pathetic response to contact them through various social media posted. They have all my contact and order information already. You can try them out for your own sad experience!

Went to Best Buy today in Charleston and a lot of the shelves were empty. It was really sad seeing empty and blank spaces on the shelves. Sure they had computers and appliances, but as far as computer parts, video game related stuff, and other misc products, there wasn’t a lot to choose from.

Posting again as the original review is not reflecting: My husband and I are reaching out regarding our experience today March 7,2026. We arrived to the store for two scheduled appointments for 1:40 and 2:00 PM. When we arrived we approached the geek squad desk to check in for our scheduled appointments. We completed the required paperwork that the customer service agent provided. The agent had us shut find my iPhone off on both phones and brought the phones back to reportedly run a check on both. When the agent returned he advised that they would only be able to repair one of the phone screens and would have to order the other phone screen. My husband and I agreed and again signed paperwork that was brought to us from the agent. My husband attempted to ask questions but the agent presented as bothered. My husband (Disabled Veteran) attempted to explain himself for the questions as the agent was presenting as bothered. This was truly unacceptable ! As we were wrapping up with the agent for the repair on one of our phones to be repaired he was handed a screen protector which we paid for and provided proof and gave him the screen protector. The agent advised the repair would take approximately one hour to little over an hour and we would be contacted VIA phone. My husband and I visited a few stores while awaiting the call. Approximately two hours had went by and no call was received. We returned back to the store and approached the geek squad desk after a few moments the agent came back and advised he had “bad news”. Upon the agent showing the phone it was not working at all and the agent advised that the screen they attempted to place on the phone was “DOA” and that they placed the original screen back on and the phone was not working. After the agent walking off laughing it was of our request to further speak with a supervisor where we waited. Once speaking to the supervisor (Brian) he presented as he was bothered and did not care about the fact of the concerns of us (The customers). We were truly baffled as our phone case was also broke in front of us and upon advising the supervisor (Brian) of this he offered to replace it but Best Buy did not have the pelican case in store. The screen protector was not located either by Best Buy staff. I am reaching out as no family should go through this experience especially after driving over an hour to the location. We will be sharing this experience with family and friends and further hope that change is made to training for geek squad employees to ensure that they are providing the best customer service. The experience and customer service was deplorable! We thank you for your time . Very Respectfully, From an army combat disabled veteran and spouse.
