Katie was helping me trade in my old iPhone and buy the new one, when mid-way thru my purchase, Katie recommended I purchase a Samsung. After consideration, and the customer experience at this store, I decided Katie and her management team were right! I'm NOT buying an iPhone! Thanks, Katie and the Team at Apple Mayfair Mall for NOT selling me an iPhone and recommending another manufacturer. It is ABSOLUTELY the right call and Goodbye Apple! - RAReem AlshaDec 7, 20251.0DO NOT VISIT THIS STORE AT ALL I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Apple Store. My iPhone 15 Pro Max had a cellular issue, but it still worked perfectly on Wi-Fi, including all apps and the camera. I went in to trade it in, spent almost 2 hours with four technicians, and after they ran diagnostics, my phone became completely unusable. It wouldn’t open apps, the camera stopped working, and I couldn’t even sign out of Find My—meaning no trade-in. I understand my phone was out of warranty, but Apple should NOT destroy a working device during diagnostics without warning. When I returned to speak to the manager, who not helpful at all, they told me I had to pay to fix the damage they caused. Now I lost my trade-in value AND my working phone. This feels unfair and like a total rip-off. Apple should take responsibility for ruining my phone during their own diagnostic process.
