    Brought my mac in for a repair, and they insisted that it had to be sent away for a simple battery replacement, and that it would take 5 days. I told them that I work off of my computer and it was important that it was returned to me ASAP. It's now been over a week, and it's still at the repair location. Horrible service, incredibly slow, not worth going to. You'll be better off looking up the repair online and doing it yourself. I wish I had.

    Unable to call the store or get a hold of anyone in person. Was able to connect with Apple support and get notes added to my account but they also were unable to contact the store. Made an appointment only to wait an hour and a half before someone was able to talk to me. When I initially came in, I knew I needed a new battery - had already run diagnostics - and had three simple questions 1) do you carry it 2) do you do in store replacement 3) what is the lead time for fixes. I was told that no one is able to answer any of my questions until one of their experts could look at my computer. The would not talk to me. Results returned exactly what I expected and I was told that it would be 6 to 9 business days and a lot of delays recently. Apple support told me I may be able to get a loaner and that was not an option. The store told me that I could buy it a $2500 laptop to use in the meantime and then I could return it as long as it was an original condition when I got my laptop back. They would not let me order a battery for parts. They wouldn’t offer my credit for my laptop prior to repair or sending it in. I had to drive a half an hour to the store in both directions, spend two hours in store to get any answers, only to leave with my same broken laptop. Meanwhile the woman across from me booked an appointment for 1 device, the rep. Said she needed 4 appointments for all of her separate devices and continued to service her regardless that it was outside of their policy. An employee candidly laughed and told me that they had their phone set up so that no one could get through so that they weren’t disturbed during the day. I will be ordering third-party and replacing the battery myself. This is the biggest racket I have ever experienced and so much gaslighting by employees both in person and on the phone. Apple, do your customers a favor and cut the BS. Do better. The store, the poor customer service, and the loops you have to jump through really make me strongly consider going back to a PC.

    My parents and Myself visited the apple store at Mayfair mall! We worked with Max L who was absolutely the best! He not only helped get my dad’s phone unlocked, he also helped set it up so he can use it with assistive access (he has lewy body dementia). We hope that he will not get himself locked out again. If we do, we know we are in good hands to get any problem sorted. Thank you Max for your patience and help today! Highly recommend this place with an appt of course😊
