  I brought my cat to see Dr Brooke and she was AMAZING with him, he was a stray before we got him and he was pretty skittish at the appointment, but she brought out the treats (and made sure it was ok) And she really took things at his pace. She checked in with him constantly, I saw her looking for upset body language, She did her exam on the floor with him because that’s where he was comfortable. Her and the assistant, I believe her name is Anita were just so good with him, I really felt like they were listening to me when I talked to Them about taking him off of G.I. food, And they helped take care of all of the paperwork I needed for the Humane Society. Our next visit will for sure be with Dr. Brooke, And if we could pick an assistant we’d for sure ask for Anita, they were both fantastic!

  Got us in quick, very very overpriced for antibiotic injection for a cat. 90 dollars for a cat that weighs 9 pounds. Exam was 85 dollars as well on top of that.

  I brought my dog in because he had blood in his stool, and the experience was honestly really disappointing. They lost his fecal sample, then told me there was a “miscommunication” (I watched them throw it on a random table while they were busy) and that I needed to bring in another one — which ended up wasting a lot of my time. I’ve gone to them many times before, so being treated this way was shocking. There was no offer to make it right, they said the offer to make it right was to “send the fecal sample since I brought a second one”, no refund… nothing. Just a quick rundown of charges and a “here’s your bill.” I didn’t bring my dog in just to walk out with a probiotic. I brought him in because he was sick. The entire situation felt careless and frustrating, and I expected much better from a clinic I’ve trusted for years.

  I am not a current client of VCA Sand Lake Animal Hospital, but they were still able to get my sick kitty, Jordy, in today (Saturday). I can't say enough about how kind and compassionate they were. It was a horrible day because we had to let Jordy go, but they made the experience less traumatic and painful than it could have been. I will always be thankful to them for the exemplary service they gave when they had absolutely no obligation to do so. Thank you so much, from my daughters and I.

  Worst experience ive had by far at a vet my boyfriend took my mother's cat in to get emergency care as we were watching him for the week and he got a bad infection and his nose was bleeding and raw and snot dripping not eating after explaining this to the vet they told him he would need to prove he had the money up front because of late payment with our cat that got paid and I explained I had the money to pay for him that day when I called the receptionist lied through her teeth with my significant other right next to me he had recorded the conversation so needless to say our little boy will not be going back i have never felt so disrespected in my life to think that this people are in charge of my baby and would lie to me I am beyond frustrated and confused and would not recommend this vet
