We recently had to euthanize our dog Cooper after 13½ wonderful years and used VCA-Middleton for the procedure. They were super supportive and had to deal with a very feisty dog who does not like vets - even in his old age. They managed to sedate him and gave us all the time we wanted to be with him before and after the euthanisation. Other vets did not want to deal with our dog because of his dislike for being handled by a vet. VCA made our experience as pleasant as it could be under the circumstances. Thereafter, they sent a very nice sympathy card signed by the entire staff. Thank you VCA for being there when we needed you.

Internal medicine docs are super. Very knowledgeable and good at problem solving. Always been treated with kindness and respect. Have been here with 2 of my cats at several different times. One cat has many issues with his disease and the docs are great at getting him well after his disease knocks him down.

Very prompt, kind, professional service late on NYE for our sick kitten who needed a bit of TLC. Good value for services, 50% exam coupon on their website helped as well.

We had our 16 yo dachshund here today fearing the worst. She had trouble walking last night and we would have brought her in then but we were getting nailed with 12" of snow. We were afraid her spine was in trouble but it turned out that she most likely has a soft tissue injury. (No idea how she was injured - no jumping or steps ever)
We were greeted by a very kind receptionist, next she was seen by another kind and skilled vet tech, then Dr.Trollope came in and asked us questions and gave her a very thorough exam. Thankfully, she ruled out spine problems.
We were seen quickly and our charge was extremely reasonable. I had heard stories about emergency vet clinics running up expenses with all sorts of tests and x-rays. Not at this clinic. Nothing but caring professionalism here. Maggie is home resting and is already walking better. We can rest easy that she is going to be fine with limited activity for a bit. A huge thanks to VCA and Dr. Trollope for the great care our Maggie received.

Edited to add: the staff at VCA sent us a wonderful sympathy card a few days after Zoey's passing. That was so sweet, and really caring. Thank you VCA!
Caring, compassionate, and skilled. We called ahead to tell them we were coming in and they had us on the "waiting board." We did not have to wait long, but our dog's situation was a rather dire emergency. I'm sure they triage there, because there was another family there that still hadn't been seen by the time we were done. We went home with her Saturday, and she took a turn for the worse on Sunday, such that she was showing all the signs the vet said would happen when it was "time." We called again, and they set aside a room for us. We went straight in, and the vet techs and vet took care of Zoey right away with care and lots of love. They let us have as much time as we wanted to say good bye, but we knew there were other emergencies outside, so we took a few minutes and left. Everyone there from the receptionist to the vet were kind and wonderful and supportive. The pricing was not bad at all.
