We knew our time was coming but we didn't think it would come so fast. I called ahead to make sure this was something they offered. We got all the clerical things out of the way. When we arrived we got put in a room so we could share a few more moments with our boy. The vet tech brought in a last meal and he loved everything in it. We took some time to tell him he is the goodest, sweetest boy. We were ready when the Vet came in to administer the meds. First he fell asleep, then his little heart stopped. Hardest thing we've ever had to do. We appreciated the kindness from everyone. Thank you for doing what you do. And thank you taking care of our boy.

Visited this Emergency Vet for my cat who was having upper respiratory issues. Was greeted by amazing staff as soon as I walked in the door, they were all so kind! They treated me and my pet with nothing but respect and compassion. They were very reassuring and extremely patient with me…as I tend to have a million questions. I didn’t feel rushed and even with my millions of questions, they never made me feel ‘dumb’ for asking anything. We were seen by Dr. Duane, she was so kind and welcoming. Very thorough in her explanations too! Highly recommend this place for anyone who has a pet that needs some unexpected medical attention. They’re amazing!

My sweet girl, Keira, collapsed last week and I took her to VCA in Janesville hoping for the best. From the minute I got there, from the receptionist, Heather, the 2 vet techs (I wish I had gotten their names) and Dr. Duane, we could not have been treated better. The techs came out to get her out of the car for me and she was taken back right away to be assessed. I was brought in a room not long after where Dr. Duane told me she was critical and explained everything and answered all my questions with the utmost compassion. Due to her condition, I had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to her. Everyone there was so sensitive, compassionate and patient. I was able to spend as much time as I needed with Keira until I was ready and she passed peacefully. The techs were very sweet and respectful when they came to take her away and even gave me a hug as I did not have anyone with me and I was a total mess. I just want to say thank you all for taking such good care of my girl for the short time she was there. It is appreciated more than you know. I also received a sympathy card in the mail a few days later with hand written sentiments from everyone there which brought tears to my eyes (again) but meant everything to me. Thank you. ❤

My dog went in tonight after vomiting several times. The doctor and staff were incredibly nice and informative on what direction we should go in for treatment and tests. Overall for an emergency vet very reasonably priced.

If i could, I would give them all the stars in the sky.
When our dog Bo got violently ill, we didnt know where to go. The closest open hospital was Middleton, we knew we didnt have time to make it that far with how sick Bo had gotten. I found the VCA on Google but the page said they wouldn't be open until 2pm due to it being a Sunday, we left the house at 1:31pm and hoped for a miracle. The clinic was only 15 minutes away from our home but Bo didnt make it, he passed away in my lap in the backseat of our car on the off ramp of the exit, 1 mile from the clinic. We continued to the hospital, arriving 13 minute before their doors were opened. My finace knocked on the door, the girls opened the door and told him they weren't open yet, he told them our dog had died on the way there and we didnt know what to do. Without a second thought they brought out a gurney with a blanket in top, gently helped take him out of the backseat and wheeled him inside.
They took us to a private room, told us they would give us time to be with him and asked if we would like to speak to their vet. She came in, introduced herself - what her name was I dont recall, I dont even think I knew mine at that moment... asked what had happened and explained that it would be near impossible to know what had happened due to him having had passed but offered to do an ultrasound and to try and find us answers. They took Bo out, the girl from the front desk came in to fill out paperwork, told us how very sorry she was. The vet returned with Bo and explained what had happened, she gave us the gift of peace, knowing what had happened and that it wasnt anything that could have been prevented nor was it anything that we had control over. He had cancer that would have not of been detected until it was too late. Her and the staff gave us time to say goodbye, asking we let them know so that they could come get him - so he wouldn't be left alone. The girl from the front desk returned, gave me a form to sign. She told me they had made all of the arrangements for him to be picked up and taken care of. Gave me an information packet for the service they use and explained how and when everything would work. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were understanding and sympathetic. They truly cared not only about us and our loss but for Bo as well.
That will be 2 weeks ago this Sunday. Tonight when I got home from work there was a card delivered in the mail. The staff had sent a card that said Think of you and had written individual personal notes to us. There is nothing in this world that has meant more to me than the time and care this clinic has taken to express how much they care about us and the passing of our boy.
Thank you from myself, my family and my best friend Bo.
