5 years ago I had a horrible experience at this hospital and would have given it a zero if I could. Recently, I went there and was helped with my kitty, I was greeted and helped by a nurse named Rita. She was professional and very kind and also very sweet to my cat. She helped me promptly and efficiently. Whatever she gets paid, give her more. Workers like that give you hope in humanity. I give her a 5 star review and because of her I’ll raise my review of this hospital.

I’m forever grateful for Dr. Joseph Richter and his amazing team. After a very difficult experience where my puppy Lola was not properly helped at another emergency facility, I brought her to VCA and from day one everything changed. Dr. Joseph took her case seriously right away. He made sure she received all the necessary tests, started the appropriate treatment immediately, and has been guiding her recovery step by step with so much care and attention. Lola was hospitalized, and throughout the entire process, I felt that she was truly in the right hands. We are still on the road to recovery, but I honestly cannot thank him enough for everything he has done for my dog. His dedication, professionalism, and compassion made all the difference during such a stressful time. I’m so thankful I found him and his team. I highly recommend this place to anyone who truly wants their pet to be cared for with attention, urgency, and genuine compassion.

Saved our cat's life. All staff very professional and caring. Dr. Rosie was very kind with us and our little guy. Most importantly skilled at her job. Appreciated the care and multiple phone call updates while he was hospitalized for 2 nights. Marty is happy at home and recuperating. Thank you to all your staff from reception, techs, nurses, and skilled doctors for treating a late Friday night near fatal urinary obstruction. 1st pic the moment he came home looking a bit disheveled. 2nd pic: happy to be home on day 2 in a new makeshift bed in mom's room.

Hello, wanted to be straightforward hopefully anyone reads this will help them. First want to say I know at the end of the day this is business they have to keep the lights on. I wish they would look me in the eyes not given me false hope. My baby girl had stage 4 kidney disease. All before they were giving us false saying draining the fluid and checking her result they see how she will respond back. We left there after two days where given bunch of medicine told to keep an eye. Mind you not until rethinking everything our baby girl was never going to make a full recovery. She came back home didn’t even make to 48hrs. Please take step back if your dog is in pains and not going make full recovery. Do what best give your pet some peace. Wish they would’ve look me in the eyes been honest with me instead of giving false hope and taking for $5k only to have my baby girl same as before & not make it past two days.

My dog ate a chicken drumstick bone. He wasn’t showing any symptoms, but I called the clinic as a precaution to ask what they recommended. Over the phone I was told they suggested bringing him in and that he might need X-rays. I brought him in, paid the exam fee, and they took him back to check his vitals. When the vet came into the room, she told me they actually don’t do anything in situations like this and simply recommended “bulk feeding” him. That was frustrating to hear after already coming in and paying for the visit. If the standard recommendation is simply to monitor and bulk feed, that information could have been shared over the phone so I could decide whether an in-person visit was necessary. I understand that clinics can’t diagnose everything over the phone and sometimes recommend exams out of caution. However, in this case it felt misleading to be told to come in for a possible procedure only to be told that nothing would be done. A little more transparency upfront would have gone a long way. Will not be returning here.
