    Well let me just say this…I won’t be going back to Best Buy for awhile. I went to pick up the refurbished laptop this morning at 10 am. There was a line of people outside in lawn chairs and blankets. Been there quite awhile. Me and another guy went in after they opened and some front office clerk yelled at us we were going thru the exit door. They open automatically. How the hell did we know?! So I went to where the desk is and told them I ordered a laptop and was notified it was there. They couldn’t find it. Meanwhile the same woman comes over very loudly says is there a problem? I said just as loudly I’m here to pick up a laptop. She shouts do you have an appointment? I shout back No. I’m here to pick up a laptop. I don’t need an appointment! She sniffs and turns away. Meanwhile the kid says oh you ordered it online, that’s why we can’t find it. Ok I’ll go get it. Cool. By this time I have a headache. He returned with it and I said I want to buy the protection plan with it can I do that here? He says refurbish laptops are not eligible for protection plans. I said you’re kidding. Nope. I said I give you 1000+ dollars and walk out of here with just the laptop? ! He says you have 15 days to bring it back if it doesn’t power up etc. (confidence builder) or maybe Apple care but I doubt it. So I took it. Then I went home and ordered a new from Apple. I’m taking this one back tomorrow. Oh the reason all the people were lined up waiting for them to open? They were returning Pokémon cards!! Sorry for the rant…but holy cow. All at 10 am ! Lol

    Where do I even begin to start with the frustration and time wasted this place has caused me. This isn’t being upset about some product I was unhappy with or missing out on some deal. This is completely on Best Buy and only on Best Buy. About 2 months ago I was unable to sign into my online account. What seemed like such a basic, fixable issue has turned into 15+ conversations on a store level and customer support calls. To dumb it down, there was a glitch with my 2-step Authenticator, instead of showing a phone number to receive a code it said my number was undefined. I was unable to receive a code to log in. I was given 4 different ways to fix it when calling support until finally I had enough and went to the store directly where I was told they could not help me and I must call support. After countless conversations I was told by the manager of the call center that if the 2 step Authenticator is wrong it is my fault and I never again in my life will be able to access the account, my only option is to make a new account with a new email (this is after legitimately spending over 4 hours in total conversation time with different people across multiple weeks of trying to log in). Finally I had enough and just gave in, I now have a separate personal gmail just so I can be a Best Buy customer. Funny little side note when I set up my 2-step authentication on the new account I tried advancing without entering a phone number, it’s impossible it doesn’t let you advance without a phone number but apparently “I did something wrong and it’s my fault”. Anyways I then had to call support back to link my old info to my new account just so I could continue to have an online Best Buy account. If you’re still reading you’re probably thinking that’s a bit absurd of a process to have to go through just to be able to be their customer online right? I was assured on a store level that once this link happened my Best Buy card would work just fine. And that’s what finally pushed me over the edge to this post today. Now my Best Buy credit card doesn’t work in the store it always says it’s declined. The card has no balance on it, no over due payment and shows this on my end and on their end in store. What do you think i was told after speaking with 3 people on this? There is nothing they can do and I will have to call blah blah blah number. It’s just crazy to me and a bit ironic that a company known for selling technology and being technologically savvy may just have the worst processes of any company ever. Companies spend thousands if not millions every year to try and acquire and retain customers. Yet here at Best Buy a guy who knows his email, password, phone number, and has a Best Buy credit card simply can’t be a customer. I’m the only clown here because I keep going back. I like the store, I like the products and appreciate people trying to help me. However, if it’s that hard for a person who wants to spend money with you and be your customer to get some damn help then I really have no interest in ever coming back!

    This place is great for tv, pc, and appliances. Games are mostly online, but there coukd be more custom products, cables, game memorabilia. Honestly it is clean and friendly employees, but a bit lack luster.

    I love how friendly the person is as you walk in. They also are very efficient with getting you the help that you need. It does seem like they don’t want people aimlessly walking around the store, but I understand that I guess.

    We have spent thousands of dollars at the Eau Claire Best Buy. Everytime there is some issue. This time we ordered a refrigerator and we ordered it with handles. We get it delivered and it doesnt have handles. Had them take it back. Recently we had a warranty issue. Turns out they canceled our five year warranty without our knowledge. My husband went to the store. They said they would figure out the problem and call him. Several days later they have not. Tom or Brooke the store mgr was supposed to contact him. The crappy thing is you CANNOT contact the store. It’s an 800 number. So what do we have to do is go to the store again. I’m sooo over this store and their mistakes. Each time it’s a 30 min drive each way. They never make it right. Countless trips to fix issues with multiple products. Why don’t they care a why do they have experienced people? I’m done with them if they do not contact us. It’s not worth my time and gas to keep buying from Best Buy. They stink!
