Apple intentionally locks iMessage to Apple devices, which is why full texting on Windows simply does not exist. There are no public APIs that allow Microsoft or any third party to sync full conversations, message history, media, or advanced features like reactions and edits.
Because of that restriction, Windows can only access basic SMS relays over Bluetooth, which explains the missing threads, broken group chats, and inconsistent syncing. Meanwhile, Android allows deep system integration with Windows, proving the limitation is not technical, it is Apple’s closed platform policy designed to keep users inside their ecosystem.

I went in for a busted laptop screen. Heidi was so kind and helpful. She had me out in less than 15 minutes. Best case scenario for an annoying circumstance.

I've been to this store almost every time I come to Southcenter mall when I'm just browsing around or after eating and need to take a walk. The last time was because my Iphone battery finally was at a point where I can get a free battery from apple care. The phone was great and told me to get it fixed and even made the reservation at the apple store.
I came in about 1/2 hour early to my 11am appointment and was greeted promptly by the friendly staff and they walked me back to the counter to have the phone checked in. It was so easy to check in and was done in less than 10 minutes. The agent told me to come back at 12:50pm and it would be done.
I came back about 20 minutes early and again was promptly greeted and they looked up my phone and said it would be a bit more wait which I expected getting there early. I used the time to browse the Iphone 17's and found the Iphone Air to be what I would replace my Iphone 14 max pro when it comes time.
Overall, great store, well staffed and they are friendly, smile and great treatment. The phone was taken directly to me in the store and was perfect in every way, now 100% battery capacity where it was 79%.
Definitely the place to take the phone for service. My only advice is it takes 2 1/2 hours and since I was fasting and no phone it was a bit of a chore to wait. Next time, I'll bring a Ipad to attach to the Starbucks and chill there or bring a Kindle.

Employees not helpful. Saw 6 employees standing, laughing not helping anyone. I went up and said I want to buy the iPhone 17. They said 20 minutes wait and continued to talk amongst each other not one customers being helped. They said there is a line but WHAT LINE? I asked nicely how they know who is first and they said “we just know. Just go over there and someone will be there in 20minutes” I walked right out.

This is by far the worst Apple Store in the area. The staff demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service. There is a clear disregard for actually helping customers — the focus is solely on selling screen protectors and additional Apple products, without any real effort to explain, assist, or properly engage.
My phone was not even taken in hand when I asked for help with setup and diagnostics. The store manager, Anna, together with another employee, Lidina, showed zero willingness to understand the situation or provide real support. Instead of trying to help, they practically dismissed me. Their attitude and level of competence are unacceptable, especially for people representing Apple.
Overall, the experience was extremely poor: no empathy, no technical involvement, no genuine intention to help — only sales. This is far below the level of service one expects from an Apple Store.
