  It has 3 stars for a reason. This vet literally only cares about money and I'm not surprised because it's a FOR PROFIT vet so obviously the more profit they make, the richer they get. These vets will push you into unnecessary testing and unnecessary medication for your pet just so they can make a quick buck and HEY maybe it'll make your pet NOT get better just so you have to go back and spend EVEN MORE money. It's a game to them. They don't care about the wellbeing of your pets at all. It's all a facade

  Such a great place! Staff is amazing from receptionists to techs to vets! Thorough, no judgement for selecting treatments, personal follow-up phone calls, etc. they are open late and on Saturdays which is crucial for me. plus they have after hours emergency! I have used them regularly since I moved to Tacoma three years ago. Highly recommend!

  Today was the hardest day of our family members lives. Our sweet, dedicated, smart, loving dog, Jay, earned his wings. Our hearts are broken but filled with joy knowing our little love is in God's loving arms now. The staff at VCA Pacific Animal Hospital went way above and beyond to provide a peaceful, loving environment to send our baby home in. Each and every one of them showed sincere love and caring souls making the journey today much better. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a loving place to care for their sweet fur babies 🐶🩵🐶🩵🐶🩵🐶🩵🐶🩵

  Honestly will not be back. This has been the second check-up my cat has had. Both times, the vet was never on time. Today his appt, was for 6pm, they called me to bump it to 5:30pm. I ended up getting called back at 6pm & not 5:30pm. Very unprepared & understaffed if you ask me. The first time, I didn’t get called back until 20 minutes after my appointment time. If you have actual places to be after your vet appointment, don’t schedule here because it’s never on time. Not to mention, everything is a money grab. I was supposed to receive my estimate in the actual room, but that never happened until I was up at the front desk checking out. Very disappointing both times. The claim to have reached out, I have not received any phone-call or voicemail. The only thing I have received was to rate my experience via email. This place is a huge money grab with unprofessional staff. You’re better off going to a mobile vet!

  I took my cat in today for treatment. The staff was very friendly and extremely professional. They were just great. Moreover the veterinary technician Christina was super helpful and very thorough in her examination. I really appreciated her taking the time to listen to all the symptoms my cat had. I also appreciated her going over the bill with me at the end. She was very professional and very helpful and I really appreciated it. She should be commended. The vet herself was excellent as well she listened to all my concerns. She was very patient and she was very gentle and caring with my cat. She also was very understanding with his hiding and basically being uncooperative. There are many good vets in this town. And I have used several. These folks are very very good and they are my veterinarian of choice. Not only do they provide great service but they are very easy on the budget.
