VCA Ponti Animal Hospital was established in 1977 for the treatment and care of a diverse population of animals and wildlife in the greater Spokane and Idaho Panhandle areas. In 1999, a modern 6000+ sq. ft. facility was built for small animal, exotic pet, and wildlife to better meet the needs of our clients. We offer optimal veterinary care with a broad spectrum of diagnostics through in-house testing and external laboratories. We work closely with local referral practices when specialized diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house digital x-ray and ultrasound, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor exercise areas.

We had a nightmare experience, and to come here and not only be so thorough in finding out what was wrong.. they were able to put a game plan together and save my daughter's life. They showed us how to use the insulin and everything. These women are the best around, they greeted Sloan-Katya while in her stroller like they really do care about her, as if she were their own. I'll never be able to thank all of you enough!! You gave me back my baby girl. Everyone should trust you with the care of their fur babys

- BABailey AJul 11, 20252.0Had been a long time client (since 1989) of the original Ponti Animal Clinic, and can say that we are no longer clients as of my recent vet visit. Ever since they went to VCA it’s been worse and worse and the other day was the final straw! I had already progressively been switching my other pets over the years to other better vet clinics, but had still been bringing my 19.5 year old kitty here because the one vet he sees is great. Sadly coming here monthly for Solensia pain shots and asking for a simple nail trim to the INSANE price of $45.25, and the pissy behavior from the staff when I asked to be with my cat during his pain shot is what had me cancel his next pain shot appointment here and we will never be back!
