Bait-and-switch pricing. Three confirmed orders, three cancellations, three price increases.
I ordered a monitor at $1,349. Received email confirmation. Best Buy cancelled, claiming “fraud.” No explanation, no opportunity to verify.
After cancellation, the price jumped to $1,499. I reordered—this time with a customer service rep on the phone who confirmed my order. Received confirmation. Cancelled again.
Price then jumped to $1,819. Ordered again, confirmed again, cancelled again.
Total price increase: $470 (35%). Every cancellation was followed by an immediate price hike. A human representative directly confirmed one of these orders, so this wasn’t just an automated system glitch.
I have confirmation emails, cancellation notices, and records of my customer service interactions. I’ve filed complaints with the BBB and state Attorney General.
If your order gets cancelled for “fraud” and the price conveniently increases afterward, you’re not alone.

Do not use their install for appliances. When we got our appliances first installed we had to fix the installation of our dishwasher ourselves when they didn't property connect it to the overflow vent. Now, years later discovering they did not connect and vent our over the range microwave to the outside vent. The sales people were fine, quality of installation can not be trusted.

Service was mediocre at best, bought a brand new TV. They didn't tell me had been opened and the parts taken from it, absolutely no way of contacting the store without having to drive back. No offer for a discount or anything for my trouble, people that loaded the TV gave mixed responses as to how they wanted it in the vehicle. Just overall kind of a lousy experience.

We had a really great experience with Elijah today. My husband needed a new laptop, and Elijah was really knowledgeable about the products, and very friendly. He answered all of our questions and then gave us space to discuss our options privately. While we were considering our purchase, several other employees also approached us to see if we needed help. Eventually we were ready to purchase but had a couple more questions, which Elijah answered very thoroughly. He guided us through the checkout process and even helped us get a good cash back situation on our credit purchase. He was patient, kind, and helpful. If and when we return to this location, we’ll be looking for him!

I came into Best Buy to purchase a phone yesteday and was “helped” out by Jake. Jake wasn’t the best help. After he heard we were purchasing a phone he tried to get us to apply for a Best Buy Credit Card. As soon as I said no thank you to him, his whole demeanor changed. It seemed as if because we weren’t applying for a credit card we weren’t worth his time. He wasn’t much help either when we asked to get a new screen protector because of its warranty. He was asked to get our old screen protector off by somebody with more knowledge and he proceeded to crack the whole thing while trying to remove it. Jake then had the audacity to ask me to remove it myself because of what I assume was fear because he didn’t want to get blamed for cracking it. Thankfully, a different employee who I wasn’t able to get the name of, (a male with long black curly hair and black glasses) saw Jake’s bad customer service and stepped in to help us. Because of him our visit was okay at the end.
