- JKJulie Engberg - Kinney3 days ago1.0HORRIBLE multiple experiences here trying to resolve issues with my new iPhone 17 Max Pro. 4 trips to this store because when we could find someone to help us, we kept getting sent home with things to try we’d already done & they didn’t work. We kept getting passed off to other people because one persons lunch break was more important than finishing helping us. The store Manager is a rude joke. He refused to let us return the broken phone for a new one despite the fact it was less than a month old. Initially, he told us he would do it no problem & came back 20 minutes later telling us he wasn’t going to do it after all. He refused to listen to us, got defiant with my husband & told us to go to another Apple Store 45 minutes away & “try to get them to swap phone but they won’t do it because you don’t meet the criteria for swapping phones” despite the fact I had a phone whose memory would randomly fill up every 3-5 days & I couldn’t use the phone for anything because of it. I’d rather claw my eyes out than recommend this store to anyone.

Then when I asked about AppleCare plus neither of them offered any kind of assistance or pamphlet or where to look about how to decide or what it offered, they only offered to sell it to me . After 20 minutes of waiting I checked in with the front area staff who asked me to retake a seat and someone would be right with me. Another 10 minutes goes by and nothing. And short, 30 to 40 minutes of my day was just sitting without my problem solved.

The Lynnwood store does not have most things in stock and it will require coming back in a few days to get the repair completed. This is despite them knowing that you’d like something specific repaired at the time of the appointment. Expect long wait times and expect to waste time during your visit to the Genius Bar here
