0/10 customer service. This was my first experience with Verizon after years with T-Mobile, and it was awful from the moment I walked in. The representative with a straight horizontal scar on his neck was immediately abrasive and rude, and it felt like he was actively trying to avoid helping me. Simple questions about upgrade eligibility and phone payoff options turned into an argument instead of a conversation. He eventually put me “in the queue” and told me I’d be next, despite the fact that I was the only customer in the store. He then walked off to whisper with another employee before she came over to help, which felt unprofessional and honestly like they were coordinating to get rid of me. After all the passive-aggressive behavior, being told “take care” on the way out felt dismissive at best. As soon as my phone is paid off, I’ll be going back to T-Mobile and won’t be looking back.

The service was initially straightforward; however, my phone number was ported incorrectly. The final digit was wrong, despite me reminding staff multiple times while setting it up in person. I did not realize this for nearly a month, as I assumed the lack of calls and texts was due to the holiday season. The impact was severe. I had to apologize and follow up with numerous businesses, lost clients, and incurred significant financial loss because people were unable to reach me. Resolving this required an unreasonable amount of time and effort on my end. Multiple Verizon locations were unable to fix the issue. I spent over an hour on hold waiting in the queue for Verizon’s porting department. I ultimately had to return to AT&T to temporarily reconnect my correct number so I could at least send and receive messages, while also dealing with Verizon’s porting department, which initially attempted to charge an additional $15 to correct their own error. Fixing this mistake cost me two full workdays. If I were not already locked into a contract with Verizon, I would have returned to AT&T immediately.

Naudine was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was patient, kind, and genuinely sweet throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we got the best possible deal. Naudine truly went the extra mile to help us close the plan and never made us feel rushed. Excellent customer service—Verizon is lucky to have her!
