- MBMarina BJan 5, 20261.0VCA was recommended by Seattle Humane shelter where I adopted my kittens. They had a special for free initial appointment and fecal test. While this is true, the prices here are too high for wellness exams and basic vaccines. My kittens needed their FeLV booster shots and they wouldn’t do it without second wellness exam, mind you the first one was a month ago. Why do I have to pay for another wellness exam to confirm the info that was given at initial appointment that I already know? Very unreasonable “policy”. Needless to say I switched to another clinic that is closer to me and has lower prices, even considering I still need to pay for an initial first visit. If I knew all of this I wouldn’t even bother to go to VCA. No issues with the doctor though, they seemed professional as well as the assistant. The pricing and certain “policies” is a major turn off for me.

It’s very apparent that they love working with our dog, which has left such a positive impact on her personality and behavior. Anybody would be missing out if they passed up this team.
