He did everything in his power to make sure me and my family was happy. He not only went above and beyond but he was so patience and understanding and I’ve never received that kind of customer service. We were taken advantage of, manipulated, and scammed in so many ways that I think it is important that this experience is shared. My Grandma’s ancient Motorola Z4 battery was on it’s last leg. We went to Verizon to get her the iPhone 17 Pro Max she wanted. Carlos, our sales rep, seemed very nice at first. He ended up selling us into getting my Grandma a Pixel 10 Pro XL for $299.00 (w/o trade-in) and getting me the iPhone 17 Pro Max w/ trade in. My Grandma and I said sure. Carlos didn’t go over nearly any of the fine print. He blocked us from reading the contract and payment complications by never presenting that there were additional agreements other than staying with the VZW carrier for 36mo. Carlos even scrolled through the fine print on the card reader, not letting her read a thing. It’s on camera. Turns out, when she didn’t like her Pixel, there was, all the sudden, a restocking fee that we had to pay. Then, after that, she got an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and she traded-in her old Z4 after all. There was never a mention that she couldn’t pay for the remaining balance on the phone for 3 years. Now, we are stuck into a 3 year contract paying for a phone with no early payments or down payments available, and we were never told that we would be locked into this agreement where we have a phone we can’t pay for. Carlos conned us, manipulated us, and then laughed about it and called my 78 years old Grandma “boo” after she got angry with the experience she has had at this store. Carlos is sadistic, and I would like to spread awareness that this is the experience that comes with going to these horrible stores. GO TO CORPORATE. Verizon Corporate needs to regulate these crazy 3rd party locations more.
