Awful wait times. Make sure if your phone works it’s on a full charge so you can kill time. No fear though there are plenty of window ledges you can lean against because there hour plus wait times include one small bench. Grateful I only have Verizon for internet because ATT has much better customer service.

I visited the Verizon store on 10/17, and my experience with Carey was truly exceptional. My son had broken his phone screen, and we came in to use the insurance replacement. Carey walked us through everything with patience and clarity, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and easy process.
What impressed me most was how genuinely he cared. He took extra time to look through my account and discovered two bundles I wasn’t taking advantage of—something I never would have realized without his thoughtful attention. He explained each option clearly, encouraged every question, and made sure I understood every step. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured; instead, I felt like he was sincerely focused on helping me get the best possible deal. Carey went far above and beyond, and his kindness, professionalism, and accuracy left a lasting impression. With so many phone carrier options out there, his helpfulness and honesty reminded me exactly why I choose to stay with Verizon.

I just want to start off that I have been a Verizon wireless customer for 18 years. I was ready for a phone upgrade because, unfortunately I am out of town and a cracked screen finally took its toll to my beloved phone, then again it's time I need to let go of it, it's been a good 3 years (I'm the kind of person that says, if it's not broken don't fix it. Trying to adapt a lifestyle of underconsuming)
I did all the upgrade and trade-in online, paid for the upgrade fees and taxes, so all I have to do is to pick up the new phone from the store and turn my old phone in, I dont like dealing with in person customer service as it almost always gives me anxiety.
I came on a Sunday the 12th, before closing, associate helped with the process. But instead of having a smooth process, she told me about a new deal that I dont have to turn in my old phone, then I'll be getting $1000 off instead of $800 for the process that I already did online. I asked her what was the catch, she said nothing, that everything will be the same and I will be saving $10 monthly, she also said that it's an in-store promo that's why I didn't see this deal online. It didn't make sense to me as it sounded too good to be true, I even asked her to explain the whole deal to me like I'm a 3 yr old because it doesn't make sense. But I trusted her wanting me to save for my non trade-in, trade-in. I asked if there's gonna be change in my plan, she said NO. I got home and gave her a nice review.
But I was surprised how she didn't help me smart switch to the new phone I'm taking home (the process in and out the store was just around 15 mins). I didn't open or activate my new phone, because I was waiting for a case and a screen protector. Then I notice the next day of Verizon emailed me a receipt for my upcoming next month and monthly payment. I was so shocked that I got a new phone number (phone line) to my account (in a state i dont live in). She failed to mention that, that was the catch. Never did she mention that, that $1000 off is because you have to add a new line. If she had told me , I would have not agreed to the $1000 off / "in-store promo" , and now I had the whole Monday having anxiety, mentally preparing myself to see a customer rep next thing in the morning, it's such a terrifying inconvenience.
So come the next day Tuesday, another associate helped me, I was just saying my frustration about the whole ordeal and I felt patronized and dismissed about how I feel about the situation, I was not even raising my voice and I felt gaslighted by cutting me off a couple of mid sentence and telling me "he's on my side". He was helpful in some ways , but he didn't made the experience better to me. I felt like I was like a child being scolded. But I get, he's probably frustrated to cleaning up his co-workers doing. But yeah I don't think he assessed the situation in a better way, because there were times where he mentioned I might not get the "promo because it's gone from the system, it's not letting him and I might need to return my trade-in through UPS" like what!!???, that's an extra problem I have to solve too. In the end he was able to figure it out and helped me get off the new line added and smart switch my phone. This whole experience was just sooo stressful that I'm really considering to never ever step foot a physical store ever.
