bought a dyson fan here and the customer service was honestly really solid. everyone was friendly, patient, and took the time to explain differences between models without trying to upsell me. the whole process felt easy and low pressure. definitely one of the better in-store experiences i’ve had and i’d recommend this place to anyone looking for dyson products or just good service in general.

I’ve had great care at both the Chesapeake Square and the Lynnhaven locations! At the Lynnhaven location, I received excellent care with a young lady who is very knowledgeable with photography (name to come). At the Chesapeake Square location, the location I frequent most, their team is remarkable! I’ve received personal care for Apple, WiFi, Verizon, Photography, plus more. I will have to come back to add some names of individuals who frequently help me and who always have a smile on their face too! The main difference between the 2 locations is the Lynnhaven Best Buy has an amazing selection of photography products! I felt like it was in heaven! I will have to go back to get better photos to add to my review. Have a great day and go get some use out of your cameras on this beautiful day! ~Erin

This isn't about this specific store but more about best buy support.
We ordered the galaxy bud 3 pros as a Christmas gift for my wife's father. We had planned to use the ai interpreter for Christmas when he visited to communicate with him because he doesn't speak English. Sadly, best buy shipped a refurbished iPad instead of the ear buds. When talking to support, they said return the iPad to fedex, and we'll reship the ear buds. They'll arrive the week after Xmas. I asked them if we could pick up from a nearby best buy 2 days before Xmas and they said it was out of stock at all stores in the area. Just checked the stock myself now that I had time and all the best buys around me have multiple in stock. Unless they all got shipments today, he lied to get me of the phone. No gift for my wife's father, and unable to communicate with him as well. Xmas isn't ruined, but my idea of best buy is.

Some creep driving a geek squad truck tried to cut me off at the light from 264 to bonney. I didn't have time to let him in otherwise I might have but then dude got road rage and hauled down bonney then slowed up to start filming me with his phone? It was the most bizarre thing. I did nothing but follow the rules of the road and he was straight road raging. It was pathetic. He was driving the truck with plate UC43-781 at 3:25 pm today December 23, 2025. What a joke.

The store isn't how it once was with its plethora of staff and myriad of kiosks and displays. However, the staff that was actually present didn't allow me to remain unattended for long. Very courteous and responded quickly to my product inquiry. They also helped me sort through some options I didn't know about and saved me even more money off the discounted sale price displayed.
Easy in and out and also reminds me that physical brick and mortar stores for tech are good to have locally rather than always turning to Amazon.
