- MAMichelle AhnMar 29, 20251.0The Geek Squad here is quite scammy. They are indeed polite unlike at the Alexandria location but the tech person here tries to upcharge you on everything. He won’t take no for an answer if you decline the Best Buy Total membership. I finally relented to his pressure to get it and then decided to cancel after a few minutes. He then proceeded to sneakily print out an itemized refund receipt for me but NOT process the refund through my bank, thus double charging me for both the membership and the individual service, thus charging me $340 for a $99 service. The entire experience was reminiscent of buying a car, the way car salesmen and this geek squad tech both try to swindle you.
