The customer service is awful. Every time I've been forced to work with verizon as they are the only internet provider in the area, it has been a headache. I wanted to disconnect my line because I am moving to an area where they do not provide service. It took me an hour and a half to disconnect my line. I called twice and was hung up on. Started a live chat where my representative tried to sell me an exclusive upgrade to 1 gb internet three separate times between me telling them I am not interested and in fact would like to disconnect my service. This went on until the chat was disconnected and I had to restart the process. I am fully convinced people only use verizon when there is no other option.

The team at the Short Pump Verizon was outstanding! I had a major issue with my phone, and they spent so much time helping me resolve it. The next day, they went above and beyond to assist my family with upgrading our plans. I went to the store to pay off my phone. I just bought it and if it has been less than 30 days, you have to go to the store and pay the phone off with cash. I attempted to do this, but the store employee would not allow me to do it and said I had to wait 30 days. Funny enough, Verizon corporate messaged me and said the store was wrong and I should have been able to pay the phone off with cash in the store. I even showed the store employee on the Verizon app the instructions stating the proper procedure, but he refused to tell me why he would not take my cash payment.

Do not waste your time waiting for help at this store. Turns out, Verizon in person customer service is incapable of helping customers and will refer you online (to the folks that sent you to the store). 1 hour 20 min wait to pick up an order, to be told it is not there, and there is nothing they can do to trouble shoot the issue.
