- SHSteve Huffman3 days ago1.0It took me 45 minutes to schedule an appointment for setting up my recently purchased smart tv. I specifically stated that I was not available until 2:00 or later on the day it was scheduled. I repeated this information several times so that there was no misunderstanding. The night before my appointment I received a text indicating that the service technician would arrive between 7:00 and 11:00. I called the store to let them know the appointment needed to be changed to the 2:00 time. I was told that there were no notes regarding the time but they would make a note indicating the change. The technician called me on the morning of the appointment and said that he was on the way to my home. I had to quickly rearrange my schedule to avoid the appointment from being scheduled a week later. The technician was very polite and was able to address the issue within less than 15 minutes. The new tv was not working properly and needed to be reset. Don’t waste your time and money (15 minutes cost me $120.00) dealing with Best Buy. They don’t have a clue how to run a business and how to respond effectively to customers!
