Not a great experience. I called on my way in from out of town to see if they had a single screw that I needed replaced in the back panel of my laptop. I get there and told one of the employees at the store that I had called earlier and the person I spoke with said they had the screw in stock. Then, when the employee who was assisting me took my computer to the back, he DROPPED my computer on the ground right in front of me. After that fiasco, they told me they did not have the screw that I needed. He apologized (as mistakes happen) and said he would have the screws ordered and they should be in the store within 4-5 days. I return after 5 days and was told that they did not have the screws and even if they did, I would have to set up and appointment and wait about an hour. All I wanted was a screw, but I ended up getting screwed.

Had a minor issue with my device concerning faulty hardware. Made an appointment online. All I had to do was sign in with my apple I.D and that was it. Effortless. Arrived at the store and was immediately helped and directed to the right place. It was not long until I was seated at the Genius Bar and was promptly consulted by one of the Apple staff. The guy who helped me was curious, direct and to the point. In about 3 minutes I was given a replacement of my device (iPhone 5c). The man who helped me told me he loved Apple and had been a fan of their products since the 80s, but was very professional. He told me that he was the 8th customer of this same store , waiting and line, buying the first iPhone. The complimentary one year warranty apple provides is great, and the the service was impressive. You get what you pay for. I would of gave Apple store at MacArthur mall a flawless score if they had rolled out the red carpet treatment, with a coat check, and free wine, but I'm not asking for a perfect service, just respect, efficiency and professionalism. Which this Apple store scored high in. All the staff I bumped into within the crowded shop were courteous, down to earth and had a sense of humor. On a side note, while waiting on my appointment at the genius bar, I noticed an employee fully engaged in conversation with a customer who was a senior citizen. He was genuinely interested in taking time to give her proper attention. A huge plus. A fine first impression of what seems to be company that puts you, the customer, first.
