I recently visited this location because they are usually my go to store. A gentleman named Kevin used to work there and always assisted me. He is no longer there. I was advised that it was a 20 minute wait. I waited for over an hour. No one checked on me or said your next, or even acknowledged how long I had been waiting including the gentleman who checked me into the system when I walked in. He walked passed me several times. I ending up walking out and going to another store in Powhatan. I will no longer return to this location.

Went in for a screen protector issue, asked the associate if there was warranty on the screen protector I purchased with the phone. He says no, and offers me a $60 and a $90 option (same brand I have on the phone now) he rings up my selection, takes my payment and proceeds to tell me that this brand of screen protector has a lifetime warranty, just go online and they will replace it… so basically you lied. I’ve also called the corporate number to report this.

Brennan helped us add a phone line today, and he was great. Very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We were in and out of the store in about 30 minutes.

Went to the store specifically to judge the weights and sizes of phones we’re considering for upgrade. The guy that “helped” us acted like he really wished we’d just stayed home. He seemed extremely bored. His behavior seemed based on a self fulfilling prophecy: they’re not going to buy anything, so don’t bother putting in effort. As a result, OF COURSE he didn’t make a sale. He never rose from his seat behind the counter. He was a poor listener in that he reiterated stuff we told him we already knew from Verizon’s website that had to do with what upgrades we were eligible for and what mobile plans we would have to switch to. We were very specific that we were there to compare screen size and weight of phones to our current models. He still took it upon himself to print out an estimate for what phone and plan he thought we should get. Again, that’s on the Verizon website. After looking at the phones, we mentioned it’s difficult to tell weight with the big security attachments that keep the phones anchored to within 2” of their stands. From his perch slumped behind the counter, he said they can’t be detached and there aren’t any other models in the store to check how the weight of the phone feels. Dude, you could’ve sold two high level phones and upgraded service plans, but your attitude was a complete turn off. Get a job you enjoy; you obviously hate working at the Verizon Store!
