I had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience at this store related to a MacBook Pro repair that had already undergone 2 Apple-authorized repairs for the same issue.
My laptop had a long-standing charging problem. Apple previously replaced the battery and then USB-C ports on both sides of the laptop, neither of which fully resolved the issue. The device was approved for a logic board replacement, and I consented to the hard drive being wiped so it could be sent out for repair. I was explicitly told it was being sent out.
Instead, the store held onto my laptop for 7-8 days and then called to say they had “found liquid damage” and would not proceed unless I paid $300 to ship due to the damage and that I would be responsible for any possible repairs. This was surprising for several reasons:
• The device had been opened multiple times previously by Apple with no mention of liquid damage
• The store had already approved a logic board replacement and wiped the device
• The photos they provided showed localized residue on the internal case (which could be a variety of things), not corrosion on the logic board or charging circuitry
• The charging issue occurred on both sides of the device, which even AppleCare Tier 2 acknowledged does not align with localized residue
• We had no experiences that would have caused liquid damage
Despite reviewing the photos with them and raising these inconsistencies, the store refused to reconsider, refused to send the device out for engineering review under AppleCare. Apple's Tier 2 support (at 1-800 My Apple) said they do have options and could over ride that, but I'd have to work with the store or send it myself. The store , stood firm there was “nothing they could do” unless I paid.
After picking up the laptop and escalating outside the store and Apple provided packaging for me to send the device in free of charge. They replaced the logic board and other components under AppleCare (no fees to me) — clearly validating that the store’s liquid damage determination was incorrect.
This experience reflected serious issues with:
• Premature and inaccurate classification of liquid damage
• Refusal to escalate despite clear inconsistencies
• Poor communication and unexplained delays
• A breakdown between store-level decisions and AppleCare/engineering reality
I expect better judgment, transparency, and customer advocacy from an Apple Store — especially when a device has an extensive documented repair history. Unfortunately, this location demonstrated none of those.

Upon entering the store I was greeted within a reasonable amount of time. I was there to make some exchanges. I was promptly pointed to the pickup desk where an associate immediately greeted me. The exchange started off good. Then, the salesperson (a young lady with a British or Australian accent) began to exhibit very problematic coughing and throat-clearing hygiene. She coughed and cleared her throat several times without covering her mouth or turning away.
Also, when she tried to up sell me twice on AppleCare and when I refused she laughed and in the rudest way stated "these things you're buying are expensive".

Horrible experience with the staff wasting my time. Telling me things would be easy and they were not and very frustrating and they even agreed it was a one in thousand time this could happen but they were not helpful at all. Horrible customer service

I like the store itself, but the employee I dealt with by the name of Ilyas (yes, same name) was just not good. Not what I expect from apple.
To start off, he was helping an older gentleman before he helped me. I was waiting for 15 minutes while he tried to sell the guy on the iPad Mini 7. The guy had questions about how iCloud and storage works and the employee answered all of the questions incorrectly and had zero understanding of how iCloud works. I did not chime in as I didn’t want to seem rude, but he told the guy to simply delete all his messages to free up device storage, rather than turning on messages in iCloud to sync them to iCloud (he had 2TB plan).
When he finally helped me, to start off, his English was not good. It was bad enough to where I had to say “huh?” or “what’s that again?” because I literally didn’t know what he said. I knew exactly what I wanted (M5 iPad Pro 256gb Silver Cellular) and he was mentioning all the other models to me, including cheaper models. What a horrible sales tactic lol.
He tried VERY VERY HARD to sell me on Apple Intelligence, as I was coming from M1. I told him I wasn’t a huge fan of Apple Intelligence, and that I’ve tried it on my iPhone and Mac. He talked about Apple Intelligence for 10+ minutes. He was having my draw things on the iPad, having me type in prompts. I told him I don’t care for it at all and prefer other tools for image generation. He tried to sell me on some app for AI art, I told him I don’t support AI art, and he still pulled up the App Store page, told me to look it up, it was some paid app.
When he finally put the order in for them to bring out the iPad he had selected the 13 inch by mistake. He told the girl who brought it “no, I selected the right one, check again,” turns out he did indeed select the wrong one. He told her 256 silver, failed to mention cellular, and they brought out the wrong one yet again.
After the correct iPad came out, he tried very very hard to sell me on Apple TV Plus or whatever it’s called. I told him I have no interest, I don’t watch movies or TV, and he keeps recommending me all these series’s and movies. I finally said “no dude, I told you I’m not interested. That means stop trying to sell me, stop pushing me. I just want my iPad.”
I mentioned I wanted the Apple Pencil as well, he looks around in the cabinets for 3-4 minutes, then pulls one out. He said “is this one ok?” and I said “I don’t know, there’s only one for this iPad model right?” and he said “oh yeah. You’re right.”
All in all very disappointing experience. I was in the store for over an hour, on what was meant to be a quick trip. As a long time Apple user this is really not what I expect and not the standard Apple holds themselves to.
