Such a great Verizon store experience. I needed help with four different things - upgrading my phone, getting another phone line, getting another FIOS account, and shopping for phone accessories. I worked with both Amara and Devon. As a Verizon customer of over 20 years, this is by far the BEST experience I’ve had. They were both very knowledgeable, professional, and focused on client experience/satisfaction.

Monday - I went to Verizon on Cox Rd in Glen Allen, VA. I was switching from T-mobile to Verizon. Their current promotion is they can give you a better deal than what you are paying with your current provider if you switch to them (Verizon). I told DeShon (the rep) how much I was paying with T-mobile. Shortening a very long story... I pay less than $100 with T-mobile. Switching to Verizon, monthly bill shown in the shared viewer was $171. DeShon said that is the amount before all the bill credits are applied to the account. He said it takes about 2-3 bill cycles for the credits to show up. In store, to walk out the door, the taxes and fees $240+ for phone, tablet, and watch. The shared viewer showed a $40 fee for EACH device that will be added to the first bill. That is $350+ for taxes and fees! DeShon said that they cannot waive the fees. I asked for a print out or something in writing for what my bill will be when all of the bill credits are applied. He did not give it to me. I got a receipt for the taxes and fees. He said that I have 30 days to cancel and return the devices and get a refund. It was closing time, He asked me to meet him on Wednesday at the store on Laburnum Ave so he can port my number to Verizon. I went home and put my same order in on the Verizon website the monthly bill was $136. I found out that they were suppose to put my T-mobile bill through their AI to get a better deal. I text DeShon to let him know my concerns and that I want to return the devices. Tuesday - I went to the location near my place of employment. That was a corporate store and they cannot accept returns from an authorized dealer. They told me that I would not be charged a restocking fee because none of the boxes were open. I went back to the store on Cox Rd to return the devices and get a refund. DeShon was not working that day. Chris (the rep) looked at the account to see what was done. He said that he can see one discount. But, with ALL the bill credits applied my monthly bill will be $120 something. I asked for a print out of what he was looking at. He said that he couldn't give me a print out and that it would not show all the bill credits that I am getting. I asked him to put my T-mobile bill through the AI. He did not. I spoke to Chris about the extremely high fees. During the conversation, I realized that Chris was feeding me an extreme amount of BS. He told me to see DeShon tomorrow and tell DeShon to call in and get the line credit applied to my account. No resolve for my issues. Wednesday - I go to the Verizon location on Laburnum Ave to meet DeShon at his request. He was not there. He did not call me to let me know the he was not going to be there. He stood me up. I called DeShon he said he told his co-worker that I was coming in. De'Vaughn (the co-worker) assists me. However, De'Vaughn is a new employee and cannot handle returns. De'Vaughn calls his supervisor to let her know what is going on. This review is already long, so I will spare you the details of the conversation. A restocking fee is mentioned. I told them that I was told that I would get a full refund and not charged a restocking fee because none of the boxes were opened. My number was not ported over to Verizon. I did not sign up for auto pay. She asked me to come back tomorrow. She will be working. Thursday - I will come back and update this post after I meet with the supervisor today. Going to Verizon 4 days in a row is ridiculous. I am looking for a satisfactory resolve today. Victra is the name of the authorized Verizon dealer. Do NOT do business with any of the Victra owned/ran Verizon stores. They are full of BS and mis-lead their customers. DeShon knew what I was coming in for and he put me off on De'Vaughn knowing full well that De'Vaughn could not do returns. Chris fed me a bunch of BS and would not give me a print out nor run my bill through AI as requested. I will reserve my opinion of the supervisor until I speak with her later today.

I had the best customer experience with Deshon who had me leaving T-Mobile coming into the Verizon family. I left with a new phone and a much less bill. He made this process effortless. Check him out he can help you too.
