  My experience at Best Buy a couple of months ago was frustrating enough that it stuck with me. There was a group of about five associates standing together, laughing and talking about sports, while customers were clearly waiting for help. No one acknowledged me. I eventually had to approach the group directly to ask for assistance. The associate who helped me seemed reluctant and spent about a minute “assisting” before recommending a product that didn’t even meet my needs. There was no effort to understand what I was actually looking for, and no follow-up. In contrast, another associate, Mason (who I had to seek out after about 10 mins of confusion following my first associate “assistance”) completely turned the experience around. He was knowledgeable, asked the right questions, made sure I selected the correct equipment for my intended use, and even helped me bring the item to my car. The difference between those two interactions was stark. If the standard matched Mason’s level of service, this would be a completely different store experience.

  ZERO STARS!!! Bought 850$ tv in March for the final four, scheduled delivery for Friday before event, took half day off to recieve tv safely. No show, checked online said on truck. Nope! Called support said it was still in colonial hts. He escalated it for supervisors attn. And callback. NOPE! Called Monday morning spoke to Nipnop somewhere overseas and got an apology with no real answers, asked for supervisor and hit a stonewall and just given the training manual list of responses. Meanwhile I missed all the final four games and out half a days pay for original delivery and another half day for the follow-up delivery. My advice go to best buy let them them showcase their tvs for you and tell them thanks and buy it on Amazon. Much more reliable. Crap for customer service company. Follow up... did what the owner said to follow up on facebook page. no resolution, they just wanted me to type out my issues all over again. Their response to my google review is for appearences only. They want the average reader to think they care and are really going to do something positive. Only recourse is to return it and buy elsewhere. plenty of other options. Go to bjs or costco or amazon. They are on the way out

  I walked in looking for a replacement TV for my kitchen. AJ greeted me right away and gave me a quick education in TVs since they are not all the same. I purchased what I came in for, AJ even walked it to my car. I will be back to Best Buy to get the fabulous TV I saw for a upgrade for my living room this black friday. Can't wait!!

  Very much grateful for the help I was giving here. The guy at the front was very welcoming & helpful, showed me which direction to go to get help for a computer I needed for school. Honestly relieved I got help, Had a frustrating experience at a best buy in Glen allen before coming to this one. I asked for helped & was told to go towards the computer department & someone would help me, stood around for 30 mins waiting. Left disappointed and Drove another 15 mins out of my way to another best buy & got way much more help & advice than the one I was just at. The guy who helped me was Jarvis, Thank you & to the guy at the front for helping me with this purchase.
