    Ordered a surface pro tablet online and it would not turn on and work. Brought it to this Best Buy within 14 days and they exchanged it easily within a half hour. Great service.

    I stopped in to pick up a paid for online order and was asked to furnish a receipt and identification. I presented the following: email receipt on my phone + purchasing credit card + non-photo gov ID (physical) + non-gov photo ID (physical) + a photo of my driver’s license + vehicle registration. I was denied pickup because I didn’t have a physical gov photo ID. I guess I could have gone through the trouble of falsifying all these documents so I could get some free goodies in the flesh and on camera - seems logical. They certainly get five stars for employee buy in on protecting inventory. While I understand store policy is clear, I think a little common sense and discretion would go further in helping their declining brick and mortar model vs. turning away a legitimate customer. Inventory protected; customer relationship and future business, not so much.

    Rescheduled my TV installation/delivery appointment without letting me know. Calling BestBuy l is a lost cause, you basically have to go in person. Thinking about canceling my subscription, returning the items, and giving another store my business. BestBuy is terrible now.
