- CDC DAug 30, 20251.0I had a terrible experience at the Bailey’s Crossroads Best Buy/Geek Squad. I made a reservation to replace my iPhone battery and even called the number listed beforehand to confirm details, but the call was routed to someone overseas who couldn’t help me at all. When I arrived for my appointment the next day, I was told the battery wasn’t available. When I calmly tried to explain that I had already called and had a bad experience, the Geek Squad employee dismissed me, told me there was “nothing we can do,” and walked away. I wasn’t rude or yelling — I was simply trying to offer constructive feedback. Instead, I was ignored. The correct answer would’ve been “sorry about it. We can order the battery and you can come back on such a day and we have it done for you”. Very poor customer service, complete lack of accountability, and a waste of time. I will not be doing business with Best Buy or Geek Squad again.
