BEWARE: Authorized Dealer NOT Verizon
Our experience at this location has been extremely disappointing, misleading and time-consuming. None of the “free phone” promotions discussed in store were applied to our account. When we received a bill showing device charges, Verizon customer service informed us that the deals we were quoted did not even exist.
When we returned to the store, the manager admitted the promotions we were promised were incorrect and also revealed that we had been given a more expensive phone (with more memory) than the one we requested—making us ineligible for the deal we were told we’d receive. To make matters worse, when I tried to return the more expensive phone I never asked for, the manager said we’d have to pay a restocking fee for THEIR MISTAKE!
This store misrepresented promotions, mishandled our purchase, and expect us to pay for the mistakes of their employee. My issue is not that they made a mistake, it happens. My issue is that they are forcing me to pay for their mistake. I strongly recommend avoiding this location and dealing directly with Verizon instead.

I honestly don’t understand how this store has a 4.5-star rating—it’s shocking. I called the call center for information, but instead of getting clear answers, I was given misleading promotion details just to get me to come in. I wasted a lot of time on the phone trying to sort it out.
When I went to the store, the experience was even worse. The store manager didn’t acknowledge me at all—I had to approach him myself, with no greeting or courtesy. When I explained what had happened, his response was simply, “Well, I didn’t say that to you.”
On top of that, I experienced racial discrimination. While I was being ignored, two white customers walked in, and the manager immediately got up, greeted them warmly, and treated them with respect—something I was completely denied.
From my experience, Verizon seems friendly at the start, but once you’re already involved with them, the treatment changes dramatically—and not for the better.

I walked into this location thinking it was an official Verizon Wireless location, not a 3rd party retailer. They did not disclose this or give any indication it was anything other than a Verizon store until after i had paid. Additionally, they misrepresented many of the charges (required insurance for the first month, in-store fee, cloud service, for example). I never signed my bill and only saw the disclosures (restocking fee) once i checked the receipt after arriving home. I called Verizon the following day to address the instore fee and discovered these misrepresentations. While everything they charged was technically legal, the way in which it was misrepresented or not disclosed to me during the sale/buying process is without question shady. I would not recommend using this location for anything other than purchasing accessories. Thankfully, Verizon took care of me.

I came into the store on 1 September 2017 to replace my old LG phone that I had for nearly six years. I was first greeted by a gentleman named Vivek. I told him that I was interested in upgrading my phone. The store got a little crowded, so he handed me over to Khalil. While Khalil is a new employee, he was very knowledgeable and professional- just like Vivek. Vivek selected the perfect phone for me and Khalil completed the transaction.
I have had my new phone for two full days now and I LOVE IT. I am so excited to have a modern smart phone with all the "bells and whistles". There are several Verizon stores in the area, but when I need something new- I am coming back to this store. I like feeling like a valued customer. Thank you.

I had such a great experience with this store back in 2017, I came back to upgrade my phone again. Nothing has changed, the service and knowledge of the staff is still the best in NOVA!!!! This time I was assisted by both Kendyl and Saqib. Kendyl helped me pick out the perfect phone for my transition from Android to iPhone. Saqib spent over an hour with me transferring my data and setting up my phone.
It’s only been one day, but I love my new phone. I am not savvy with technology, so Saqib and Kendyl’s assistance was appreciated.
This is my store, if I ever move Russel Cellular is worth the drive!!!!!
