I was able to get an appointment on thirty minutes for someone to look at my computer. As soon as I showed them my issue they knew exactly what to do and had me in and out in less than 30 minutes.

I had stopped earlier to check their prices as they had changed from when I had them come to my home, some time ago. Now it's $99. for home service. They were very gracious and was. able to make an appt. for me to take my PC in that afternoon. I was about ten minutes early for my appt. and the Tech. immediately set up my PC and started making various checks, explaining everything as he went. This was great for me as I'm not particularly 'tech-savy'. And within 15. minutes he solved my problem and I was on my way. NO CHARGE!!! I was very impressed with the customer service and would nothesitate to return to that Best Buy if the need arises.

Once I managed to hit the right combination of extensions, I sat on hold for about 10 minutes before I just hung up. If you have a computer problem, go somewhere else. Took my laptop to a reliable local shop and it's going to cost maximum of 1/3 the price it would've been at Geek Squad. Plus, I didn't have to attempt to set up a best buy account, go through a phone system, and then explain a problem I didn't understand. "I don't understand the problem, that's why I'm here."

The computer had been working just fine except for a single USB port. When we go the computer back we could not make the internet work and, eventually, took it to another Best Buy. The internet is now working. I'm not sure what they did and why we came away with this problem.
