    This was an awful experience. I needed an iPhone battery replaced. They called to establish my appointment time but gave me the wrong instructions to prepare my phone. They blew past the appointment time (it’s basically first come first serve) told me I needed to go home to complete turning off stolen protections without looking to see if had familiar locations registered. I drove home and it did not work. I had to go through the hour security delay anyway. This was a joke. Go to Apple if you can. At least there is a check in process

    Not impressed at all!!!! I purchased two laptops and the Microsoft 365 Family subscription. My son installed it on his laptop, and have me the information to install it on mine, but it didn't work. I called Geek Squad and the guy I spoke to treated me like an idiot. He wouldn't listen to me and refused to help, so I hung up. I decided to buy the personal version and it still won't install, so I called again. After waiting for 10 minutes, the guy who answered went mute and I got disconnected. SERIOUSLY?!?! It shouldn't be this hard to install a simple application!!!!! If you don't like your job, QUIT!!!!

    I called the Geek Squad helpline to see if I needed an appt to bring my computer in. The support person helping me was nice and seemingly helpful, but she either didn't know how things worked in the store or she intentionally mislead me. After spending more than 30 minutes on the phone with her she told me I'd need to take my computer (desktop running windows 8, which she knew) into the store. She also told me I would not need an appointment. I loaded my computer in the car and made the 20 minute drive to Best Buy. Because I didn't have an appointment I had to wait. The wait wasn't bad, the bad came later. When I finally met with an employee, he didn't call himself a tech and his knowledge level showed he wasn't a tech; he told me they couldn't work on my computer hardware issue because my OS was windows 8. The computer was too old was his only response. Why didn't the support person on the phone tell me that? Why did she tell me to go to the store? Why does my OS version impact your ability to determine what is wrong with my hardware? Don't waste your time with Geek Squad! Find a local computer store that does repair work.

    Mom recently had a touch stereo installed in her car. We had some issues with the oem USB port cutting out due to vibration. It was a bit irritating as I had to return to the store 3x after initial install but finally Josh got it set right. I appreciate you josh! Thanks
