I came in for one charging issue with my MacBook. Beverly not only helped me fix that issue but she ended up helping me with about 4 other issues as well. So thankful for her!

Arrived at 8:40pm—Waze showed the store closing at 9pm. The door was unlocked, so I stepped in just to drop off an old iPad for recycling. No credit needed, just wanted to dispose of it properly.
Instead of a quick "Hey, we're actually closed, but let me take that for you," I got "we're closed" repeated at me until I left. Felt less like a customer service interaction and more like being turned away by a bouncer. When I asked what time they close tomorrow so I could plan my return trip, the response was again "we're closed"—I had to clarify that I meant tomorrow. They were so focused on getting me out the door that they couldn't process a simple question.
I was able to mention that their hours on Waze were wrong, but that was about all I could get in.
The whole interaction would have taken 30 seconds if they'd just accepted the iPad. Instead, I now have to make another trip just to do the responsible thing with e-waste. If your posted hours are wrong online, fix them. And if someone walks in with a quick request, a little flexibility and basic attentiveness go a long way.

I visited the Apple Store at City Creek in Salt Lake City to purchase a new phone and left the store with zero phone service. The staff deactivated my existing line and attempted to activate a new device, but the process failed due to a carrier issue (AT&T).
The manager did step in, but he knew there was no solution available in the store. Despite this, they continued with a process that resulted in my phone being disconnected, fully aware that I would have to call the carrier myself later to fix it.
Leaving a customer without any working phone — especially on a weekend — is an unacceptable management decision. There was no temporary solution, no rollback to my original line, and no accountability. I walked out with no service, no phone, and no support.
For a company that claims to prioritize customer experience, this level of poor decision-making and lack of responsibility is shocking. This should never happen at an Apple Store.

BOO, bad technology. The apple iPhone 14 technology failed 100 days after purchasing it! They will not uphold warranty of 365 day hardware failure warranty!
