    I wouldn’t be taking the time to leave this review if I didn’t think that it was terrible. I purchased an Apple Watch from Best Buy a month and a half ago and the screen would not turn on, it’s currently under the 90 day geek squad warranty so I brought it in and they wouldn’t help me. They told me to call geek squad customer service directly so I did and then I was sent to AppleCare customer support and they told me I needed to go back to geek squad. When I called to talk to a manager, they wouldn’t connect me. They said my only option is to go back into the store, basically been given the runaround all day to try to use a warranty that came with the product I bought from Best Buy.

    Horrible customer service when dealing with geeks quad for apple care customers. Drove hours from rural central Utah to the closest store that works with apple care, with an appointment through apple care who said that they would fix my phone to be told that it is Apple policy that they can’t fix the front of my phone without fixing the crack on the back of my phone. Oh and they can’t fix the back of my phone because iPhone 14 Pro backs can’t be fixed????? What a joke! If you are trying to use apple care and the Best Buy in Orem you are better off going to the Apple Store in sandy utah. Skip the hassle!

    Unbelievable, this store and the manager named Cody. I walked in the store three minutes before opening and he kicked me out so that I couldn’t come in because they weren’t open . We buy a lot of products from the store TVs Xbox PlayStation’s iPads earbuds cords, all kinds of things for electronics. He wouldn’t allow me to go get the item By the time I would’ve got the item, the store would’ve been open. He’s lost my business forever and he should be fired for such ridiculous control freak stupidity. We’re done with this store. And Best Buy you can thank your store manager Cody for that.

    I’m honestly still upset about the experience I had at this Best Buy. I went in expecting normal customer service, but instead I was met with rudeness from an employee named Sam from the Geek Squad that completely caught me off guard. The way he spoke to me his tone, his attitude, and the dismissiveness made me feel small and unwelcome. What hurt the most is that it didn’t feel like simple bad customer service. It felt personal. I can’t say for sure what his intentions were, but the way he treated me made me question whether there was some kind of bias behind it. No one should walk into a store and leave feeling judged or disrespected like that. I expected basic professionalism and courtesy, and instead left feeling upset and unwelcome. Management should be aware of how some staff speak to customers, because experiences like this drive people away. And for sure will not be coming back.

    The general manager is awful. We were put on the run around for the 'new system' for geek squad. After hours of conversations with the managers, the online chats and phone chats, we were left still with no answers. There were a couple supervisors and managers that truly tried to help but couldn't, so they recommended i come back when Lance, the general manager would be there. So my husband and I show up and Lance doesn't come talk to us but tells his workers he'll be right back. He then proceeds to either text or say something over their ear piece that he in fact is not going to come back and talk to us... he wouldn't even talk to us! That to me is cowardly and very gross behavior for someone with that title, and pay grade. He literally left it up to the people that had already tried to help us. We live 30 min away so it's not an easy/ quick drive there, and he didn't even have the decency to speak to us. I will be continuing to get this info to higher ups because that is completely unacceptable. My husband and I have been very calm, considering the complete disaster this all has been, and we have spent good money there, so it would be a great loss for them if we didn't return. I do want to say that the manager Joseph was great help and Steve also really seemed to try to help us. We got some sort of success with Joseph tonight, but I'm still very shocked of how the general manager handled this situation, by hiding in the back.
