    Best Buy has convinced me that customer service really is dead. We ordered a laptop for my daughter. Four days ago we did receive a pickup reminder stating that we needed to pick up the laptop by 3/23/26. However, my mother suffered a serious stroke that day and was placed on hospice. We have been by her side ever since as we have been told that her time is very short. Understandably, the laptop was the furthest thing from our minds. Well, the morning of the 24th I get a text message stating they are cancelling my order. My daughter needs this laptop for school, so we immediately call CS, but there really is no CS, just a call center in India somewhere. I asked the call center if there was any way that I could speak to someone directly at the store as I was worried they would send the laptop back to the warehouse. He basically told me to drive into the store if I wanted to talk with anyone who actually works there. So I had no choice but to head to the store to try to straighten things out. However the store didn't open until 10. I arrived at the store around 11. I explained the situation, and to my great relief they still had the laptop at the store and said it was no problem to just put the order through again, that is until they went to do that and the price jumped over 668.00! They explained that when I purchased the laptop that it apparently was on sale. I asked if there was anything they could do seeing as they just cancelled my order that morning, but they said they could not help me. It literally was physically the exact laptop that I had purchased for the sale price, a price they were originally ok with just a few hours prior. What would it have hurt to just honor the price seeing as they had just cancelled it that day, especially considering the circumstances? The answer is that it wouldn't have hurt them at all. I understand that it was our failing that caused the order to be cancelled, but to not allow for flexibility and grace in situations like this is frankly deplorable. I honestly won't be surprised at all when this company goes belly up. I know they've lost my business for good.

    I had an excellent helper whose name was Rayce. He took the time to help me find a controller that was worth the price tag on it. I proceeded to ask Rayce if we could test out the stick drift on the controller and he said we could and got straight to it. Overall Rayce has amazing customer service, amazing intelligence, and communication so I would recommend going to him for help!!

    Bought a TV here in December. The electronics employee that helped us talked me into a Best Buy credit card. The only reason I got the credit card was because he told me Id get a gift card/store credit for $50, but to wait a week or so. Went back a week later and was told I have to use it online. Go online and couldn't figure it out. Spent a lot of time today trying to figure out how to use my $50 online only to find out the store in Riverdale could have easily looked it up, and now my $50 has expired on Feb 29. Very dissapointing, as that is literally the only reason I got the credit card. If the Riverdale Best Buy sees this, please contact me to make it right. Thanks
