Working tech is tough. I was a walk in and oversaw an interaction with a disgruntled customer and Derrick. Derrick handled the customer professionally and calmly, de-escalating the situation best he could. Great management and service.

Nayeli was amazing when we switched from prepaid to postpaid and opened a new line. She was kind and patient, explained everything clearly, and even helped us get a new phone almost for free!
Allen was also great and took the time to help us, even on a busy day. We’re so grateful for both of them and their excellent service!

I had a deeply frustrating experience at this Verizon store that others should know about. I walked in with a simple issue; I needed help fixing a problem with my Apple Watch. Instead of addressing that, the very first thing the rep did was try to sell me their home internet service. How does a request for technical support turn into a sales pitch? It was incredibly annoying and made it clear he was more interested in making a sale than actually helping me.
I even explained that inside and around our home, Verizon’s service barely works, so their LTE home internet wouldn’t make sense. He brushed me off and insisted it used different towers, which is simply FALSE. He was focused on his commission, not the customer experience.
Sure enough, the internet didn’t work. I was getting barely 2 Mbps speeds. I then had to go out of my way to return the equipment at a UPS store and call Verizon customer support to confirm the cancellation, which was a complete waste of time.
To make matters worse, after I purchased a new phone, I explicitly told them not to add insurance. Yet a few days later, I got a notification that insurance had been added anyway, an extra $20 a month subscription that I never agreed to. It felt like a blatant disregard for what I said, just to pad their sales numbers.
On top of that, the staff didn’t even seem to understand their own promotions. They initially told me I could get a $500 discount on an Apple Watch Ultra 3 if I added a line or with phone upgrades which we did for 3 lines. When I returned to the same for another line, they suddenly claimed it might be one per account but told me they would follow up with me in a couple days, they never followed up. When I later called Verizon customer service, they confirmed the promotion was valid and helped me get the deal with no issue on my behalf other line, proving the store had simply been wrong.
Overall, this store’s staff was pushy, uninformed, and unhelpful. Verizon’s customer service over the phone was far more knowledgeable and professional. I strongly recommend avoiding this location entirely.
