  So I’ve been trying to use geek squad for a while. My family pays for the Best Buy total plan. Meaning that we should be getting lots of help and be super happy, right? Well out of every time I have gone in the past few years, I have never once left satisfied. I’ve tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I’m done. Keep in mind that every item I talk about in these stories was bought at Best Buy. First time I take down something it was a laptop that had soda spilled on it. I asked them what they can do and they said nothing. They don’t clean, they only repair. Okay, so they’re not a repair shop, cause cleaning is part of repairing. Got it. Noted. I go down again with a pair of newish headphones that had broken. We have total Best Buy care and it’s still under its warranty. They say they can’t fix it but they’ll get us a new one. Yay 😁, but it’ll cost $30 for shipping 😐😐😐😐😐. So despite the fact that it is under warranty and we have the best subscription service, we still have to pay for shipping. Okay so geek squad pushes any cost it can to its customers instead of being a decent company. Got it, noted. Well, my computer won’t connect to the internet and it has a bug where the “this app cannot be opened” page keeps popping up. I take it to them and they say that they will fix it. It was free, but they made me pay for the usb they used to backed it up on. 😐😐 nothing new there, except for the fact that when I got it back days later, both problems still existed. The page still popped up and the internet was no go. 😐😐 I had to use my small about of IT experience I got from a local collage to fix it. Okay, so anyone with a fraction of a IT degree is better at tech repairs than geek squad. Got it, noted. And now we’re here. With all this information I can finally use geek squad. My keyboard got spilled on and needs to be cleaned, I know that Geek squad won’t do it so I’ll find someone else. BAM, learned something. My monitor screen is not working right anymore. Since I’ve never brought something like that down before I’ll call and double check before I go down. I call, deal with the annoying AI person until I get the geek squad and, YES, they do look fix monitors. BAM, learned something. Did my research and now I won’t be burned. I grab my monitor and head down. I wait in line while the employees there procrastinate talking to me till they finally call me over. I tell them what’s going on and, they turn me away. Say they don’t fix monitors. I’m speechless. There is no way to win with geek squad. No matter how hard I try to work with them, they always find a way to screw me over. That was the final straw. They’re useless. Despite the fact that my family pays for Best Buy total, I will never go there again. There’s no point in going to when they’ll never do anything. 0/5 never go here.

  The rep was rude, said they did not have the screen to fix my phone despite the website saying they did and tried to blame Apple. He acted like did not want to do the work.

  The geek squad team is useless they don’t solve any problems, they don’t even try to do it!
