- CSChris St.ClairOct 14, 20253.0As a professional truck driver, I have been pulling out of this Staker Parsons pit for years. I haven't really had any issues with the scale lady at that pit. She has a job to do, and she tries to do it professionally, and by the book. She has every right to expect professionalism and cooperation from the drivers who haul product out of that pit. Unfortunately, she has to deal with substandard seat covers…(Those who think they are truck drivers). That pit has two scales, and that time, they can get very busy. But, when drivers who “forget” to get a lightweight before loading, or not paying attention to the CB radio when she is trying to communicate with a driver, it can get very frustrating. She's human, and at times her frustration can lead to anger. I've been in my truck waiting to get loaded, or in the office waiting for a ticket and have been privy to conversations. I find that the driver is usually at fault. She puts up with hearing foul language, sexual innuendos, and negative chatter about other drivers. Her job can be stressful throughout the day. For you whiny cry babies who are posting negative comments, grow up. If you want respect, treat her with respect. We are all just trying to do our jobs to support our families.
