This Best Buy is well run, always clean, with plenty of Staff. Today I interacted with Devon at the counter and he was professional and helpful.
But the big gold star of the day goes to Levan who is actually an AT&T rep who was working in the store today. He was a lifesaver. For weeks I have had trouble figuring out how to transfer photos from my iphone to my PC. After several attempts, I entered frustrated, determined to find a solution. Levan tool the time to hear what had not worked so far and came up with a simple and direct (and inexpensive!) solution that AI failed to suggest, Thank you Levan!

This is the worst customer service of any store! We purchased a big ticket item and had it scheduled for delivery and setup. On their own the customer service team arbitrarily cancelled the order because they couldn’t get the item in time, however failed to notify us. After we called to confirm that they were coming is when we were informed of them canceling our order and they needed to reorder and reschedule. (They had not credited us our money while they canceled without notifying us). We reordered and waited for them to come out for the next installs. We reconfirmed the appointments and information for delivery and setup and made sure all was correct. They again confirmed this.
Day of appointments (there were scheduled two install appointments for separate items and install. Needless to say the person who came out (who was pleasant and helpful) stated he was the only one coming. One of the projects he could not do due to needing support and the other was not able to be completed due to the store selling the wrong item. So we needed to get back on the phone to reschedule again. After being on the phone for 28 minutes and Veronica not knowing how to “reschedule “ and being put on hold, the call was dropped. We called back and got another representative, Allen, who told us he could not reschedule because it got canceled. We asked for him then just to schedule it and again unable to do it, and just kept saying the other was canceled and he couldn’t see a charge but did not provide any further help.
After spending close to 15k over the past year and 1/2. In addition we have bought their premium product membership. I would NOT recommend to anyone. Their call center is primarily the cause, being the worse experience ever, over and over again. Until something changes with their customer service I will be hard pressed to continue to spend my money there.
UPDATE: McKay from the store reached out and was able to help resolve some of the concerns. While we have mostly been happy in the store, I remain concerned about the customer service call center. I would keep this a one star or less for them, but the manager at the store today was helpful and that is where the 4/5 comes from.

Extremely helpful staff in the actual electronics department. As for the appliance and networking department, we received absolutely no assistance or service. Those interested in buying a TV and I literally could not find an associate to help me. I decided I would just buy one at a pawn shop instead. However, I'm assessing them with four stars because the service I did receive in the electronics area was top tier.

The American Fork 'Best Buy' is a JOKE in the I.T. industry standards of performance. I have had many interactions with the 'management' and have even emailed the CEO, Corie Barry, about the incompetent manner the 'Geek Squad' is managed and the entire waiting period is a absolute joke. The last time I was at this location, they even took down there 'Monitor' which showed who had made an appointment over the phone or online, then I, we, hurried to the disgraceful American Fork Best Buy, to find out that they simply call the next person who was in line. Zero integrity. Zero respect for this Best Buy and the negative impact this location is having on Best Buy customers. I WILL NOT shop at any Best Buy ever again because of the lack of accountability shown. Best Buy has fallen off of their perceived purch of so called 'know how.' Goodbye.
