    I recently visited the store looking to buy cell phones, and I can say the service was excellent. Shout out to the person who helped me (his name was Juan, if I’m not mistaken 😅 and if not… I’m sorry 😬 [I’m really bad with names]); he helped me very quickly and made my purchase a pleasant experience.

    Drove to the store to buy an item that said was available in store for an open box price and was told I couldn’t buy the item for that price because that’s the online price so the in store open box price is different, but it said it was available in store, why list it if I can’t go get it? I then asked if I could place a pickup order and was told yes I can but I’d have to pick it up tomorrow because it’s 7:30 and it has to process. I could see the item, with the red open box sticker and was told that they are kept at the service counter. Yet I can’t buy the item I drove here to get that was within reach. I did pay for the pickup but now I’m going to have to come tomorrow to get it creating a 2 day ordeal. I understand it’s the fault of the system, not the person helping me, however it is not a customer friendly system. 1/5 experience this time however overall I do enjoy buying my items from Best Buy in general, but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Edit: they canceled my order, tried to place a different order and got flagged as purchasing quantity in bulk even though I only wanted one for me, useless system and a waste of time. Went to Amazon instead.

    The customer service here is pretty much worthless. I was looking for desktop speakers. Even though I was clearly sampling what demo speakers were working the four guys who were standing around didn't make any attempt to come over and offer assistance. When I finally did go over and ask for assistance I was told that a certain guy was very knowledgeable. However he didn't give me any more information than what I could just read on the box and was reluctant to do that. He basically came over and said "Here they are". Pretty much waste of time. I did purchase a set since I can bring them back in 2 weeks if I don't like them. It just seemed like they had a lot of sales people on the floor but none of them were really interested in helping people. Maybe a manager will read this and try and make some changes. Good luck Best buy, I guess I'm going to keep shopping at Amazon since it's basically the same thing of buy and return to get information on products.

    I'm woefully bad at tech and gadgets. I was in serious need of a cord that went from a headphones Jack input and to my phone. (I had a long drive and it was necessary for music aka my sanity.) While I admittedly have had bad experiences at other locations of this chain store, that was not the case here. I met this lovely, red headed, female associate who greeted me as I came in. She helped me find what might work, but it did not. However, she assured me I could exchange it and so I did for a cord that did work. Furthermore, she didn't try to sell me on the most expensive options. Rather she focused on my current needs and helped me find something that did work. Thus saving me from a horrible long drive without music. I know I might sound like I'm being hyperbolic. I'm not. I'm just truly grateful for the impeccable customer service.

    Do not bother if you care about the ability to return. Go through amazon, or hell, even walmart. They will not take a return, even defective items, past 2 weeks. No exceptions. Walmart and Amazon both have 30+ day windows, and can give exceptions for defective items or holiday windows. Bestbuy confirmed they have zero ability to make exceptions for customers, even within a reasonable 30 day window, either through an in store manager or an online supervisor. The in person manager was also visibly irritable before we even spoke, just at having been brought over to assist. If you were like me and went with bestbuy thinking it would provide a better experience than walmart or amazon, think again. Terrible experience.
