  I have a senior dog with a partially collapsed trachea. He is 14 or 15 years of age and when this was diagnosed me, my wife, and the vet came up with a plan. Now at this time we had their insurance and we was getting all his medicine from them, then we found it alot cheaper elsewhere. His condition is irreversible and there isn't anything they can do. Our plan was to try the cough tablets along with cough syrup over the counter, but the vet said as time goes he will get worse and to combat the pain they was going to give him hydrocodone cough syrup to keep him comfortable before we would have to put him to sleep. Now since we have canceled the insurance and we get his medicine from somewhere else, (which is the cough tablets mind you we get 60 of them for what we was paying for 20 thru them). Now they DO NOT want to give him the pain medicine instead wrote him Gabapentin 100mgs 60qty which we had to get thru them. They Now have a sign posted that if they prescribe medicine you have to get it thru them or you wont get it. Their reasoning is fake medicine in pharmacy. In all actually its all about the money they can make. So the medicine they gave him DOES NOT help bone pain its for nerve pain in humans!!!!!! I advise people to not take your animal there if you want them to be treated well and the actual problem be treated. They all have attitudes and seem to have a God complex. Im filing a formal complaint to the board of veterinarian medicine. My dog is literally suffering his last week on the planet because we chose to cancel their insurance!!!!!! They made over 1k off one visit using said insurance not counting what they charged the credit card which was like 100 or 150 a month. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS and I hope the vet and the vet tech have to face what they have done. My dog deserves better than to hurt his last week on this planet and here is the funny part they prescribed him 60 of them knowing he's not going to be around much longer but the more they prescribe the more we had to pay them. So again I repeat DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL THERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL AND WANT WHATS BEST FOR THEM. FIND ANOTHER VET one that actually cares because all they care about is the color green and to play on your emotions to get the most that they can. Im beyond mad, hurt, and distraught watching my beloved senior dog having to suffer all over some money they didnt make!!!!!!!!!

  Id have given a negative 5 stars if possible. What an awful place. They charge diffrent fees if your animal has fluid in its eye to if it's a wellness check. Not to mention the highest for that In the entire mov. $95 for a well animal $107 for a sick one? I'm not paying that when it's cheaper everywhere else. I found a good place. The spot clinic is amazing and very budget friendly, or the hospital on 7th st is only $78 for sick or well animals. If you really need someone call the kanawha humane society in charelston wv. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE, I REPEAT DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! Please quit patronizing these pathetic types of businesses, they need closed down. To many complaints I've heard about this place on top of what I mentioned. They do not care about animals or their owners. They care about them greenbacks. That's it. Do not go to vca dudley animal hospital if you care about your animals.

  WORST EXPERIENCE. One million percent DO NOT RECOMMEND. If you bring your pet in for care they will come back with the resolution of euthanizing them. Simple nail trim and ear meds shouldn't result in MY BABY DEAD.
