I had to take my cat in because he was having trouble peeing. Everyone was very nice and they took care of him right away. The vet, (Alex Thore), explained what was going on with him very thoroughly and answered all my questions. I was given price estimates before treatment was done and was given different options of what I could do. He was very well cared for. I had to call again later that same day after I brought him home and they offered to palpate his bladder again without charging me and even took the time to show me how to palpate him and what signs to look for. The whole team was wonderful and helped me feel better when I was having a stressful day worrying about my cat. I truly appreciate everything they did!!

Short version - VCA saved our dog’s life. They were wonderful during a very difficult time and helpful, understanding, and honest while guiding us through a very difficult decision. Long version - Our dog, Finn, was diagnosed with a cancerous growth that was compressing his lungs and heart. He was in pain and struggling to breathe while we searched for any veterinary hospital able to see him before time ran out. VCA got back to us quickly and made time for our required imaging, consultations, and surgery on very short notice. They were compassionate, competent, and communicative through every step of the process. The diagnosis and treatment was expensive, but we were never misled or manipulated into spending more than we could afford and were given very honest answers about our dog’s prognosis. In particular, oncologist Dr. Robat, surgeon Dr. Kierski, and surgical coordinator, Kiley, were a dream team and outstanding at every turn. Finn is now happier and healthier than we’ve seen him in nearly a year. There’s always a chance the cancer could come back, but we’ve gained priceless time with him and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.

Right from the phone this place was a nighmare. Have always had good service here. Saturday may 16th was the worst. Called before my husband went a the tech that answered the phone was rude. Then when I said I have been there multiple times with all my dogs I have had. Still do not know what is wrong with her. They did an xray with out consent from my husband. Sedated her so much she could barely walk. I used to trust this place but will never go back. Finally got a call back, still will never go back. The women that called is obviously a corporate employee. To do the X-ray there should have been a written approval. They told my husband they were going to do it, never said they were going to sedate her for it and gave her a double dose of one of the meds. My husband did not actually approve any of this. He just said they were gonna do it and gave him a price. He is a person that needs things played out for him. I could not be there because of a resent surgery. Being taken over by a big business shows here. Told the woman I will never use them again and she was just fine with that. And said as much. So sad no real care anymore.

I highly recommend vca. Not only was every worker polite, kind and compassionate but my dogs care was top notch. His surgery went amazing and the dr has checked in on him multiple times since going home. The guy at the front desk (I think his name is Murphy) deserves a raise. He greets you with a smile and was so sweet to my pup. Again, highly recommend 🙂
