  Kai Shiu and his team were incredible and kind. Although we had to say goodbye to our Sugar, they helped make the process smoother by informing us about all of our options and outcomes. They were incredibly responsive. Terrible situation to be in, but we highly recommend this VCA and this team to work with. Thank you! 🙏

  I truly had such a great experience here. After spending hours and thousands of dollars in the VEG ER a few days prior to our visit at VCA with no answers, I reached out here in hopes to get into the oncology department. Kendra was incredible with trying to get us in on such a short notice. There was a slight miscommunication when we got there, but all nurses and vets made sure we were taken care of. My sweet Golden had a tumor in his belly and the Dr gave him a CT scan immediately. Wishing for the best, unfortunately his cancer spread everywhere in his belly. Our doctor was great when it came to giving us the most up front information on what to do, what tests we should and shouldn’t run, and any recommendations being worth it. It was a sad and unfortunate visit, but we got answers, which is something we lacked when we went to VEG. I would 1000000% recommend VCA for anyone, and god forbid I get told I have another dog with cancer down the road, without hesitation I will be seeking out VCA. Thank you Kendra, Nurses, and Drs for taking care of my baby and giving us the answers we needed to make sure we were doing the best thing possible.

  I cannot recommend VCA enough. They are some of the most compassionate people you'll ever meet. We brought our 19yo cat here after she suffered from a vistibular emergency. There was nothing we could do. As soon as we walked in they had a room for us and they were so heartfelt, patient, and understanding of our situation. Two weeks later they sent us a beautiful card offering their condolences. They are at their best when you and your family are at the worst.

  I cannot say enough good things about this VCA location. Pet emergencies and health issues are scary and expensive and everyone's experience is valid - but mine was exceptional. My precious cat was diagnosed with a tumor over the weekend in Chicago and despite calling and calling, I could not get any clinic to see her the same week, and I was only offered admission with a price tag of up to 20k BEFORE any diagnostics / treatment. I drove to Madison because someone at UW promised me that if I came through the ER, oncology would see me. When I got there and called again for pre-arrival, a new person told me that is not how it worked and that at best we would be admitted and transferred to oncology the next day. Cancer diagnosis and treatment is already SO EXPENSIVE that any unnecessary admissions just add to the price tag and make actual treatment less affordable. So... I called a few other places and VCA got me a same day appointment with Dr. Robat. Dr. Robat did the ENTIRE work-up -> including CT, biopsy, and getting the finalized results all in one day. She then counseled me compassionately on all my options in such an open, honest, and non-judgmental way. AND THEN, she started treatment that same day, AND THEN called a clinic back home in Chicago and got me an appointment with oncology at a facility that is not even affiliated with VCA - because she recognized that getting my cat quick and close care was more important than making money. and honestly, I spent less this entire day than I had expected/budgeting for (though of course, it is still expensive). I truly would have been lost without her and the VCA team - and instead, I know have a treatment plan and care close to home. The diagnosis and prognosis are devastating and my heart will never fully recover from knowing that I will lose my angel far too soon - but I cannot say enough good things about how VCA and Dr. Robat treated me.

  I cannot thank the VCA staff enough. Last Saturday I had to bring my female lab, Ruth, in for a possible heat stroke, foreign body, or bloat. She was acting nothing like herself, drooling profusely, very lethargic, she could barely keep her eyes open, didn't want to walk or jump in the car. I was a wreck, so sad and stressed. I was so amazed that on Saturday she was able to be seen within 15 minutes of us checking her in. Everyone on staff that we met was so kind, spoke nicely and it truly felt like they cared deeply about us and our pup. We were there for about 2 hours, staff continued to check in on us and give us updates on Ruth the entire time she was in their care. Then when it came time to pay our bill I was so surprised how reasonably priced they were! I cannot recommend them enough. I attached two photos of Ruth, one during that day when we were on our way to the clinic. The other is typical Ruth on any given day. Thank you again VCA for helping and saving my girl!
