  Very disappointing customer service and a complete waste of my time. I went to the Apple Store at Southcenter yesterday because I wanted to trade in my old iPhone in person instead of mailing it in. I had already requested a Trade In Kit online, so I specifically asked the store if I could simply do the trade-in at the store instead. The employee told me that I had to call Apple Customer Service to cancel my online trade-in first. I followed their instructions and spent time calling Apple Customer Service today. Then Apple Customer Service told me that I did not need to cancel anything and could simply walk into the Apple Store and trade in my phone. So why was I given completely different information by the store in the first place? This was an unnecessary extra step that could have been avoided if the store employee had provided the correct information. I shouldn’t have to spend additional time calling customer service because the store doesn’t know its own trade-in process. Very frustrating and disappointing. Apple needs to do a much better job of making sure its store employees and customer service representatives are giving customers consistent and accurate information.

  Do not go to this store! We were told to make a reservation for 5:15 PM, so we did and even arrived 20 minutes early. It’s now 6:05 PM and they still haven’t taken us in. They keep taking people who preordered ahead of us. What is the point of making a reservation if you’re still going to wait almost an hour? We’re paying customers too—it’s not like we’re getting the phones for free. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.

  horrible customer service, there were two lines for the store since the iphone 18 pro and pro max just released. one line was shorter and the other line was longer. i checked in for a PICK UP and the guy put me in the longer line and when i asked what the other line was for he gave me attitude and came up all close to my face and said ‘don’t worry about it’ in a rude way and then said it’s for pick ups. am i not here for a pick up? genuinely disgraceful & distasteful. yall need to hire more people and also need to revamp the hiring process cause these people don’t know the first thing about customer service..

  How do you purchase an IPhone online, go to pick your iPhone and then are expected to wait in line for twenty minutes? This is the sheer and unbridled lunacy at this store. Avoid this store like the plague.

  Customer service was very lacking at this store. There was a nice lady at the front who helped me set up an appointment with a ‘Technician’ who reluctantly walked over and tried his hardest to upsell me on the iPhone 17 despite his repeated assertions that it’s “essentially the exact same phone” as the 17e. I believe his name was Tray. Once I had decided to move forward with a phone he immediately left for 15-20 minutes to help another lady who had arrived about an hour after I originally had. I understand being potentially understaffed but that doesn’t mean courtesy should be lacking. He proceeded to make unnecessary small talk long after he had finished with the other lady. I was fortunate enough to leave with a new phone within 90 or so minutes, though it took me helping to complete my own data transfer. Thank you, Apple.
