  I've taken my old boy Loki and my young boy Thor to this clinic for the last 5 years. Each employee very much loves animals and wants to see all of us give our best to our furry ones, and they take extra care to make sure all of their physical needs are being met or illnesses are being investigated and treated. They're very understanding and have very little judgement for everyone's attempts to take the best care of their animals, as I love my boys but I've even fallen short of being the best I can (especially regarding the oral health.) I wouldn't have picked any other clinic in Spokane to care for my boys.

  It is with disappointment and sadness that I write this review. I loved each and every vet my dog visited while at this facility. Unfortunately I will leave them because of their front desk staff. I was looking at a piece of commercial land on a major north south route in Spokane and found a stray cat that was clearly ill. I telephoned the vet's office to see if I could bring it in. The receptionist said she did not have anything available until the following week! I asked her to call if they had a cancelation. To date I haven't heard from them. I did find another clinic who told me to come in the next day, which was a Saturday by the way. They were great. They addressed the respiratory problem with medication and the caked over eyes with drops. Scheduled him for neutering and said if I could not find someone to take off all the terrible mats by the date of surgery, they would do it when they put him out. They were wonderful!   VCA donates a service up to a value of $250 for dogs adopted from Spokanimal, which is an awesome thing and much appreciated. It's also a great marketing tool to get people in the door, and hopefully turn them into repeat clients/patients. I brought my newly adopted pooch for the free visit, and while I appreciated what Dr. Bodenstein had to say, I felt the delivery was akin to being addressed by Brainy Smurf, to the point it was almost insulting (hence the removal of 2 stars). I left the clinic feeling fully unimpressed, and being very glad I already had a relationship with another veterinary clinic for my other companion animals, as I would not be returning to this one.

  I love brining my dog in to see Dr. Bodenstein. He is always great with her. The staff at this VCA is also so friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

  Got a puppy and they are so great with her! Amazing and caring team. They take their time to answer all my questions (whish was a ton) - would recoyto anyone
