I visited the Apple Spokane Store to have my iPhone 13 repaired and left feeling like I was the most important customer in the world.
Karen, who assisted me, noticed my Marine Corps veteran sticker when she removed it from my phone. She took a genuine interest in my 33 years of military service, asking about my career and sincerely thanking me for serving our country. Her gratitude was heartfelt and greatly appreciated.
What happened next truly impressed me. Another Apple team member at the Genius Bar overheard our conversation and came over specifically to thank me for my service. Later, when I returned to pick up my phone, two additional Apple employees introduced themselves as fellow veterans. We spent a few minutes talking about military service, camaraderie, and the honor of serving our nation.
Karen then returned with my repaired phone and explained that the team had identified and taken care of a couple of additional issues as well. The repair was excellent, but what stood out most was the way every employee treated me—not as a customer number, but as a valued person.
In a world where genuine customer service can be hard to find, the team at Apple Spokane exceeded every expectation. They made me feel respected, appreciated, and welcomed as part of the Apple family. I walked out with my head held high, my chest out, and a tremendous sense of pride.
Thank you, Karen, and thank you to the entire Apple Spokane team for an experience I will never forget.
Semper Fidelis,
Mike
