  There needs to be more transparency around cost at this place beforehand. When I called to get my cat a prescription, there was no mention of a requirement to get bloodwork which is over 500 dollars. I understand why they have to do bloodwork. But it’s not cool to not mention it until you’re there when it is standard procedure for the service you requested. If you wait to tell people about that until they’re in the office, there’s pressure to pay it or else waste the office visit fee and bring their pet in for no reason.

  Bought my injured cat here. They didn’t even tell me my cat is underweight, need supplements or any support. They dont care about ur pet but money. Go to other vet if you can.

  All around fantastic experience from front desk to vet tech and my new favorite vet. I was offered financial options, and some very thoughtful personal advice, as well. Absolutely recommend!

  Had the most positive experience here. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with Dr. Plosky who spent time talking to me about my anxious puppy and discussing medication options. Having had a very negative experience at another vet clinic in West Seattle, I was thankful and grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and compassion at VCA West Seattle. Also like they have separate entrances for dog and cats which I’m sure helps both types of animals feel more comfortable. Lobby and exam rooms were very clean and well maintained. Feel confident my puppy will continue to receive wonderful care here. And a bonus if you’re a new client & it’s your first visit, there’s a coupon online for a free first visit and free single dosage of flea treatment.

  We went here because we got a discount from the Humane Society. Staff was friendly and the vets seem knowledgeable, but they don't do the exam in the same room as you (for cats, not sure about dogs.) They came in, asked the usual questions, then took my kitties to the back for the routine exam. Afterwards, they came back and asked if I had any questions. I've never experienced that at any veterinary office. Not a fan.
