- TMT MartinMay 8, 20193.0We used to be happy with this place, but after years of going there we were left very disappointed. Just recently one of our dogs was having problems. After numerous scans and tests at Ponti and different places (because Ponti was closed on the weekends) we called Ponti 3 different times to speak with the vet. Our dog was very sick and we wanted to speak with his vet to get her opinion on treatment options. After 3 days of waiting and 3 messages left, we were forced to contact the emergency clinic that had done some of his tests and get their opinion instead. We came to the conclusion that since his vet wouldn't respond, we were going to have to put him down. We called Ponti first thing in the morning, and they said they couldn't accommodate us, to come in later in the week. Sorry, that doesn't work for me. I wasn't going to let my dog suffer anymore. Went back to the emergency clinic, they gladly fit us in and took care of everything. To this day, there has not been any follow up from Ponti as to the condition of our dog (not that it matters anymore). We have switched vets for our other dog after 10 years with Ponti. Sad
