My Chocolate Lab (Coco) has been coming here since he was a puppy, excellent service, knowledgeable vets and easy to get my appts... I highly recommend. I recently added another puppy (Daisy) to my brood and I'm looking forward to VCA getting her going on her healthy way! 10/10 highly recommend 👌

Took my dog here yesterday for paw issues and and ear infection. While the vet assistant and the vet were very nice and talked a lot I feel like I was bamboozled. Neither person actually LOOKED at any of the issues on my dog. While the paw issues could mostly be seen without getting too up close and personal, I mentioned his ear infection and they didn't look at his ear at all. Instead they prescribed a $167 cytopoint shot and proceeded to tell me it would PROBABLY clear up the ear issue. That is not correct. Cytopoint is for ALLERGIES not infection which they would have seen had they actually looked in my dog's ear. I did let them know I was tight on funds when I came in but that doesn't mean you don't even look when I tell you a valid concern with my pet.
I can say that both women that talked with us were very nice but at the end of the day my dog is still sitting here shaking his head and showing clear signs of discomfort. I feel like we got minimal attention because it was our first appointment which means the initial exam was free...I guess you get what you pay for.
Ladies at the front desk were not real friendly.

Felt very bait and switched by this place. I had my kittens first set of vaccinations done here. They waived the first consult fee, but still way overcharged for the vaccines I was coming in for. Then they said to come back a few weeks later for a booster. That's when they really got me. The vet came in for all of 90 seconds, gave my kitten a look over then said she looks good and left. Then the vet asst came in and showed me a quote for $1,500 to spay and boost. I obviously declined but they still made me pay $97 that I don't have for the "consultation". Not only was it a waste of money, but also a huge waste of my time. Bad experience, would not recommend.

Horrible unprofessional, 0 empathy, worst vet experience I've ever had. Reception was impatient, unprofessional, unkind and down right rude. After a accident with my cat I was told to hurry in, with cats the carrier takes a few tries. When we arrived we were greeted with a eye roll and told "that was a long time ago" it was 1 hour.
The only reason I went there is the urgent care we love was closed and it was time sensitive so we attempted to go near by, big mistake. We should of just immediately took the drive to a capable caring vet, this place is a disgrace.
This is not my first emergency with my cat we've been to Emergency Vets, the regular vet as well as urgent care vets and never have I experienced such unprofessional, uneducated, unreliable, unfriendly, uncomfortable service. I knew it was not a good place, atmosphere or staff very quickly. The receptionist was aggressive, agitated, unprofessional and unkind that is not someone or somewhere I would trust my sweet girl with. The employee scared me she was so angry for no reason, I can't imagine how the poor animals that get treated there feel.
We were taken to a room by the unprofessional rude receptionist, while my cat meowed I filled paper work and asked "can we shut the door so I can let her poke her head out" the receptionist snapped "focus on the paper work, hurry up" and slammed the door. At that point I knew that was not how I wanted to be treated and was not how I would want my cat treated. I said I might be short a bit of the fund and she said let me get the vet. The vet came and said we won't help you if your short. I said "ok this is time sensitive right?" He agreed.
We drove immediately to VEG and paid slightly more for real professional legitimate care that couldn't be provided at VCA. I had funds I could access but felt so uncomfortable the minute I walked in with the rude receptionist, the unprofessional information the aggressive comments. I also didn't sign the papers seeing the unprofessional unreliable service. We drove to Vetrinary Emergency Group in Lynwood where my cat was looked at and then we discussed price, at VCA they wanted money without explaining services, could care less about my cat didn't even acknowledge her or ask how she was, just wanted money blindly and when questioned said they wouldn't help. Fine by me my cats deserves better and she got it at Veterinary Emergency Group, so glad we left that horrible place called VCA.
VCA wanted money without explaining services or talking to us, they wanted me to blindly sign and agree to pay. They wanted to treat us poorly and then leave my cat in their care? The receptionist was down right nasty to us. The vet didn't have the same horrible aggressive attitude but didn't take anytime to explain or make me feel comfortable enough to let them care for my cat and give them a high price. If I'm going to pay top dollar I want top care for my cat. So we went to Vetrinary Emergency Group and it was worth every penny.
I paid a $100 more than I would of paid at VCA and got fast, professional, caring, service. At Veterinary Emergency GroupNOT VCA, my cat was treated with the care we deserved we weren't separated, treatment was clear and bed side manner was impeccable. VCA is low, unprofessional and the bottom of the barrel with animal care. I'm so glad we left that horrible establishment. With what I saw id never go back and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know this place is awful on every level.
