- BSBayley SpendloveJun 4, 20261.0I was very disappointed with my experience at VCA Animal Hospital. As a new puppy owner, I went to the vet expecting to learn more about my dog's health and have my questions answered. Instead, I left feeling judged and discouraged. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was being criticized for not knowing information that I simply didn't have, since I had only owned my puppy for about a week. The veterinary assistant, Kaleb, asked several questions about my puppy's history and vaccinations. When I explained that I didn't know all the details from the previous owner, he told me I was "unprepared," which felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. I was also told that I was overfeeding my puppy. However, when I showed the feeding guide on the dog food bag, it confirmed that I was feeding the recommended amount. Despite this, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the incorrect assumption. Customer service is an important part of veterinary care, and I was surprised by how dismissive and condescending the interaction felt. I came seeking professional advice and support, but instead I left feeling embarrassed for asking questions. On top of that, the pricing was much higher than expected. While the initial exam was free, the cost of the recommended services and products was so expensive that it didn't feel like any real savings. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning.

Vet came in, and examined my dog, didn't take long for her to figure out what was wrong. Had his ointment, and was very thoroughly shown how to use and out we went. Great personality with the animals, extremely knowledgeable gave this, vet a five star review 👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tess and the staff seamlessly worked together with my vet to get me enough food for the trip. She was efficient, friendly and very helpful which I completely appreciate especially since I was a little panicked. Thank you Vinyard VCA!
